welcome to cambodia, ambassador todd. you made me smile by hearing you speak khmer. thank you and may our two nations work together to further strengthen our committment to each other in all fields. as you know, my country cambodia has a lot of potential to change as the next generation of young khmer people all grew up, young and vibrant and eager to learn from america and the world as well. i think cambodia and america should learn from each other and strengthen the educational program so both khmer and american students can have life experience as well as learning experience by the exchange program. i believe cambodia and the united states of america can become allies as we learn about each other and appreciate each other's rich history and differences and so forth. anyway, i do welcome to cambodia, mr. todd. may god bless america and cambodia for future to come. thank you.

Cambodia and American have love and hate relationship.
American bomb Cambodia to ash and kill Cambodian was almost over 500, 000, but American took Cambodia refugees and help them to settle in America, gave Cambodian aid, promoted democracy and American company Chevon get involve in oil and gase exploration and ,so on.
We Khmer forgave America but will nerver forget, we are enjoying American goods because of high quality and American dollars, like to have education in America, we want American lifestyle and so on.
Quite opposit to China, Cambodian does not want to adopt any Chinese lifestyle despite Chinese efford to bring more aid to Cambodia, therefore China has to use local Chinese in Cambodia to impose Chinese culture into Cambodia as we are seeing currently florist Chinese culture in Cambodia.
if i choose to run away with my american husband, i would choose to run away to america and maybe australia as well. definitely not china or india or youn country and so forth.
