i think the way to make a real difference in changing people's perception and thinking, etc in cambodia is first and foremost is educating everyone to see the benefit of freedom of speech or expression. the fear factors in cambodia is not something that was created or existed recently. in fact, to be fair to cambodia as well, this sort of fear in freedom of expression or speech has gone back for centuries in any regime. it think in cambodia people look for ethical code of conduct, it is ethical, then people don't mind at all; it is the unethical or irresponsible or disrespect form of freedom of expression or freedom of speech that people have to be careful about. it boils down to mutual respect of people because you don't start cursing or name-calling people just because they are in authoritative position or something, just like you don't go around cursing at your boss at work or your doctor or your nurse, or your teacher, your professors, your parents, etc, etc. you see, it called the ethical code of conduct that everyone in cambodia need to be educated on and aware of the appropriate time and place and not mixing irrelevant issues together to ruin someone or the country's good reputation, etc, etc, you see. that matters more than a disguise of something, you know.
