| Outside the convention building, unemployed Chinese in Canada were paid by the Chinese embassy in Ottawa to hold the protest against the international move to push for a dialogue between His Holiness Dalai Lama and Chinese government so that a solution can be found to end the suffering of the Tibetan people. This type of protest is not allowed in China but the communist Chinese enjoy freedom of expression which is allowed in the West |
The convention believes that the change in Burma and in the middle east will affect the position of hardliners in China as the world is moving to recognize the right of self determination of minority groups, China will have no choice but to talk to HH Dalai Lama to find a suitable solution to the crisis.
Some speakers at the convention predicted that some serious change in china will occur and china could become a democratic nation with less than 10 years. What about Cambodia?

That "some" are 3 persons: Dalai Lama, Richard Gere, and Son Chhay. The rest of the people don't believe in such craps.
