DECIDE :

Boundary Decision, 9 July 1870
The Rear-Admiral Acting-Governor, Commander in Chief,
RESOLVES:
The Commission, after having examined the delimitation presented in the name of the King and that which was proposed by a French commission has decided:
The boundary remains the same as that which was marked, without change, from pillar No. 1 (at the mouth of the Prech-Prien) as far as pillar No. 16 (at Ta-sang on the Cai Cay).
The territory lying between the Cai-Bach and the Cai Cay, which was part of French territory (and from which the annual revenue was about 1,000 F) will be ceded to Cambodia in compensation for the 486 houses which formed the villages situated around Soctranh and Bang-Chrum.
The pillars 17 and 18, and those which follow, are cancelled as far as Hung Nguyen; Cambodia will retain all the country inhabited by Cambodians in the Provinces of Prey-Veng, Boni-Fuol and Socthiet.
The boundary will be traced subsequently, and the strip of territory along the Vaico, which is occupied by Annamites or exploited by them, will be reserved for France.
Saigon 9 July 1870
Approved by His Majesty the King of Cambodia, and the Rear-Admiral Governor.

it is time for cambodia to correctly redemarcate our national borders once and for all. it has been kept isolated and ignored for so long already to the advantage of cambodia's greedy neighbors. it must must permanently demarcated once and for all so no more future generation khmer people have to suffer anymore loss or unrecognized border areas. once it is demarcated properly and lawfully, cambodia and khmer people should dig canals and so forth so to permanently demarcate our national borders. if we leave the borders undemarcate like in the past, the greedy neighbors will always take advantage of that isolation and so on to steal from cambodia. it is time for cambodia to wake up and use law to properly redemarcate our national borders. no more excuse to leave them undemarcate again. just do it right and lawfully. we can use the french made maps to do that because that way those greedy neighbors cannot cheat and steal from us as the old map will show lawfully what belongs to cambodia, etc, you know. when it comes to national borders and khmer territories, it is in the best interest of all khmer people and citizens to protect and safeguard our entire borders lands and territories, etc, etc, really. the old french map cannot lie and is the only acceptable boundary lines, anything after that, especially under when the viet occupied cambodia say from 1979 to the untac era should not be accepted by cambodia because more than not, it was the violation of cambodia's lawful national boundary under viet influence then. so that's why the french made map is more lawful and better for cambodia than the map from the viet occupied era of cambodia, really. it is in best interest of all khmer people to stand up and make sure it is the lawful map that will be used for demarcating cambodia's borders, nothing else can be accepted.

Good point raised but the CPP which you often admire as the great leaders don't see it that way. When it comes to Khmer lands, they don;t give a damn, their power and money are more important. They are good demagoges for Khmer people. While ignoring the east, they propandise the west - how they love Khmer land so much and prepare to defend against the siem to the death. Why don't they have the gut to do the same in the east ? Why are they so coward ? They rather imprisoned their own people who dared to speak againsthe supplemtal treaty which legalised the illegal treaties of 1979, 1682, 1985.
Every time Khmer negotiate with the youn, i only see Khmer lose, not the other way around.
Yet, Khmer still can't wake up. Ignorance so much overwhelms Khmer heads.
During all those years under Sihanouk, haven't you all known that already, historically speaking? Only the powerful, the rich, and the famous got ahead...Is that any different than what's going now, at this minute in Cambodia?
De toute façon, peut-on faire quelques choses, entre nous tous???
Listen you guys, what is the meaning of this document? Are the proposed "ceded provinces" of the current state of Cambodia protected by this document at all? Where is Touch Bora of Australia when he is really needed? Can Cambodia also take Koh Tral Island issue to the world court as well. The Youns must not be made to profit more land from the remaining territory of Cambodia. If anything at all, it is them who need to cede the entire Mekong Delta back to the Mother State of Cambodia. Var Kimhong is making a grave mistake by proposing to cede two of the villages inside Cambodia in exchange for the other two villages inside Cambodia claimed by the predatory Vietnam. This act of aggression must stop NOW! The 4 villages are inside Cambodian territory. The entire so-called Vietnamese territory of South Vietnam was also the ancestral land of the Khmer people. How much more do the Youns still want? If the Youns are allowed to take over the proposed Khmer villages, then the animosity and hatred for the Youns will be an eternity fold. The Youns must stop their predatory transgression against the State of Cambodia NOW!
Great comment and very constructed ideal, but under the THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT,THE KHMER ROUGE RULERS AND THE CCP PARTY, THEY DON'T CARE,THEY FAVOR TOWARD THE VIETNAMESE CLAIMS THAN THEY PROTECTED OUR LAND.HUN SEN ONCE SAID ANYONE DEFENDED LAND BY THE VIETNAMESE BORDER WILL BE PROSECUTED .IT 'S SHAME FOR THOSE KHMER THAT SUPPORT THE CCP PARTY AND WILL BE NO CHANGE TO RULES AND REGULATIONS AS LONG THE CAMBODIAN PEOPLE CHOOSE TO VOTE THIS PARTY.
You can't do anything much because those who are supposed to protect Khmer land have decided to give it away in order to please the Viets and remain in power counting on the Viets to help them if there are any internal forces who may want to challenge them off power.
In addition, do you see any god-damned reactions from the Cambodian people in PP?
Not much!
History repeats itself and that is how the Khmers lose their land!
So you can blame the Viets and the Thais all you want. Just remember that they can't take your land in this modern day unless you agree to it being silent means you have already agreed to it.
I wouldn't doubt that the Khmers will eventually be a minority in their own land. Sorry for them?
I used to. For now, I don't have any reaction since they live in the country and they don't seem to worry and so I am asking myself how much I can do considering that I can't even vote!
Just too bad!
Ah Hun Sen,a dictator,has done
what he has to do because he was
toppled by Vietnam in 1979.
Ah Hun Sen is a Vietnam slave,he
must obey his master.
After bringing ah Hun Sen down like
ah Gadhafy, then new govt and Khmer
people won't agree what ah Hun Sen govt has done.
