Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to carry out landmine clearing operations in the disputed area surrounding the Preah Vihear temple.

Defence Minister Sukumpol Suwanatat said the agreement was reached at the second meeting of the Thai-Cambodian Joint Working Group, held in Phnom Penh from Tuesday to Thursday this week.

The landmine clearing work would be conducted at spots known to both sides as A, B, C and D that have been referred to by the International Court of Justice, ACM Sukumpol said upon his return to Thailand yesterday.

Before the clearing work can begin, a joint Thai-Cambodian landmine clearing working group will have to hold more talks next month to discuss the framework of the operations.

After the landmine clearing task is completed, both sides will move on to discuss demilitarisation in the disputed area, ACM Sukumpol said.

Meanwhile, a group calling itself Ruam Phalang Pokpong Phaendin (United to Protect the Motherland) has urged the army to expel Cambodians who they say are encroaching on Thai territory.

They say Cambodian soldiers and civilians have reclaimed a forest in the disputed area that belongs to Thailand.

Cambodian government officials are so stupid that they agreed to clear the landmines that protect their soldiers. Next time, Thai soldiers just walk over and cut Cambodian soldiers' throat without worrying about stepping on the landmines in side Cambodia.

The Thais will never stop trying to get more Cambodian territory for themselves because they keep seeing that the Vietnamese are able to bully Hun Sen to give up all the Cambodia's border areas to Vietnam recently. The border markers are planted inside Cambodian territory instead. Hun Sen acted tough against the Thais by staging Cambodian troops to stand their ground against the Thais, but the Thais see through it all. As long as the Thais continue to say NO to Hun Sen, Hun Sen can't do jack sh*t at all. Cambodia is doomed because soon the Lao will also flex their muscles trying to claim parts of Cambodia as well. International observers already warned Hun Sen not to cede Cambodian territory to Vietnam, but Hun Sen still acts as a dog trying to appease the Vietnamese and now the Thais are still acting tough and Hun Sen still can't do anything at all.

In all agreements in the past the Siem thugs can say and then flip flop and AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave has no choice except to do whatever the Siem thugs want him to do and the end it is the Cambodian armies and the Cambodian civilians who will pay with their life for his stupidity!

My Khmer brother, don't worry Khmer military commanders are not that stupid. They just play along the Siam tricks. We Khmers had a lot of experiences in land mines operations.

Our soldiers frontlines bunkers are well protected with traps. We won't never let Siam took areas around Preah Vihear Temple. Khmers had learned Lovek history.
Prak Deung tricks.

Hun Sh*t pretends to act tough with ah Siems, but with ah Youns, Hun Sh*t willingly cede border areas to them. F*ck Hun Sh*t's RCAF. If RCAF wants to prove its worth, then it has to reclaim all the border areas from ah Youns starting now.

After clearing mines, Siam will take over the landmine area easily.

Hey I am very hurtful too to see Youn steals our land right before our eyes. What choice do we Khmer peoples can do right now ? Our ignorant, incompetent, greed current and past leaders put Cambodia at a great disadvantages to deal with these thieves neighbors. We are in a positions where we have to pick our poison Siam poison or Youn poison. My Khmer brothers I wish one of us can find answers to get rid of these thieves and puppet government.

Right now our ill equipped Khmer soldiers need all the help we can help them. Cambodia can't fight two bigger enemies at the same time. Some please find answer to help Cambodia from foreigner thieves.
