On Saturday at The Ambassador City Hotel on Sukhumvit Road, the 13th Thai & Cambodia Regional Border Committee met, to exchange opinions and seek better solutions for managing the borders. Thailand was represented by the Commissioner of Chantaburi and Trad’s Border Protection Force, Vice Admiral Pongsak Purirote, and Cambodia was represented by the Region 3 Commissioner Gen. Gaew Samuan.

The meeting reviewed the situations of the Chantaburi and Trad borders, and looked to create firm friendships between the 2 countries. A well maintained border can assist the residents of both countries with their economies, safety, health care and environmental concerns, and contribute to the peace of all who reside around the borders of Chantaburi and Trad provinces in Eastern Thailand. As a famous poet once said, “Good fences make good neighbors.”

Both Vietnam and Thailand are the same; They were/are always taking
advantage over Cambodia because
Khmer leaders were/are crooked and
stupid. If the kings or prime ministers want to get power, they
depended on these two nations.

Sihanouk asked Vietcong to win over
Lon Nol;Khmer Rouge were also needing
help frm Vietnam govt,so did ah
Hun Sen.

=That is right! That means the Siem thugs must stay on their side of the fence and the Khmer must stay on their side of the fence!

No more joining on patrol along the borders! In the past the Siem military thugs misused such cooperation by spying on Cambodian military installation and used their GPS to pinpoint the target for their big guns!
