The causes of this situation are obviously linked to the dictatorship, which is perpetrated by Hun Sen and his political party, CPP, for more than 30 years now. They hold absolute power with their tight control all over the institutions of the country, especially Justice and Army which are used for political purposes to eradicate Democracy for which all Cambodians have aspirations.
Their methods are well known: political assassination, usage of the justice system to intimidate and oppress people, hijacking of election process for the advantages of CPP, systemic corruption and so on.
The consequences of this dictatorship are the accumulation of power in the hands of a small group of leaders and their clan with a high concentration of economic and financial assets, which is self-sustained by the systemic corruption. All of this practice is perpetuated to the detriment of the whole population, who become poor and don’t have any future because all Cambodia’s resources are decreasing due to the plundering for political and personal purposes.
With this dictatorship, Cambodia and Cambodian population become economically weak as its resources are decreasing. The economic and political weakness and the overwhelming poverty of the population will reduce the position of Cambodia while the economic and territorial hegemony of the neighboring countries is growing continually.
The poor will vote for whoever compensate them for their votes.
Opposition or ruling party is going after the same pot of money they do not possess.
Rule and run the government is the best way to be wealthy over night.
Hun Sen is not going to care for the weak and poor because those can't give him wealth.
Suggestion to main opposition party,it's time to make Comrade Kong Korm the president and let the founding president be the emeritus samdech president until the majority and victory secured in 2013, then the plan can be altered.
Winning small battles will not secure the victory for the long haul war. Know how to fight does not make you a winner.It is know how to win that make you a winner,especially in Nom Benh moi.

There are million monks in the w0rld such as in Asia,Europe,

80% of Khmer people are poor;they
are lacking of jobs.They do what
they can do survive.
20% of Khmer are very rich,Hun Sen
and families,high officials,and

A lot of monks under Hun Sen rule
became a tool of Hun Sen.
When jobs developed,
the numbers of monks decreased.
Some monks are good and the others
are bad because they are human beings.Monks worked too.
When people are dead,they need
monks.
Even Christians,(pastors,and their subjects)need money to feed themselves as monks also.
If anyone is a nonbeliever,keep
your own business.Don't bother
other believers.So monks have the
rights to be monks.

Worldly known corruptive career is to be agents of the so named God (inexisting element of biological evolution).
This monk is no hero monk, more like a coward monk just like others. He is just like sam rainsy and other guys who started to fight for human rights, usjustice for khmer people, but when their lives were threaten, they tucked their tails and ran or surrender right away. Real hero is the person who sacrifies his life for others. look up the definition in the dictionary or read the meaning of hero in the wikipedia then you will understand. This monk, and just like other monks before, they have started to fight for what they beleived but they have not accomplished anything but received an honorable title from some idiots who did not understand what hero real means. I'm sick of stupid people gave these idiots so much credits for something they have not actually succeeded or finished what they have started.
ScmaSRP and their followers couldn't win or gain any of their old useless paranoid political agenda in any given elections, now they're using this ungly monky to do their dirty fight, at the end they still a big looser and still dump asses refugee potato diggers cockroaches. Buddha Gautama was a man of his own integrity and principle of only oneself can save oneself by self doing(reliance)to become good human,not God.
He was once a wealthy prince of the feared King father but yet he was not about to live off his father wealth or his fellows.
During his long search for enlightment in days and nights meditation,he vowed to eat twice a day of what he could find on his own such as mud at the bottom of the river or leaves, if no generous food donor would come to his sanctuary.
Note he chose to live in the forest not in a plush shelter or riding on luxurious carriages which all he could do without problem as a prince of the imperial dynasty.
Unlike Xmer monks nowaday, claimed to be Buddhists but practice non Buddhist in ways to gather wealth and embellish own greed to suit individual lifestyle after monkhood.
Some sported themselves in expensive sunglasses and expensive wireless gadgets to self promote like this person in article above.

Folks, I admire,non-other beliefs or religions,Buddhism and its teaching principles. No Gods existed before men,men can do evils to men not Gods.
I felt embarassing, if I had to be fed by others,even family members. Because I felt, I was born equally in physical and mental capability to live on my own efforts.
What I see in Cambodia now,many monks become so corrupted,and in that, I felt pity for folks who blindly bowed heads and poured out their meager resources to support those lazy exploiters.
In abroad is no difference, monks are lazy and self serving individuals under the saffron robes.
To me,they are criminals or leeches in taking advantage of the religion.
In Cambodia,individuals with crimninal and colourful background can become monks at any time and anyplace for example just look at Tep Vong.

Some of those Scientists thought that they knew everything, but the facts they cannot even properly predict the weather.

GOD is only ONE the Almighty One, who created the Universe, Buddhas are many Holy men that sent to teach GOD's version of Love, Peace and live the life of humility.

We have no records of the many Buddhas before this last Buddha, but the scholars took His words for it. How can we know if this planet had been shifting for who know how many million times, and million records may be destroyed into the sea (Atlantis is one example, humans just found).
If scientists are so great for everything then why cannot they know how many times the earth was shifting? How come they cannot unmask where are those Aliens came from? How many times human civilization were buried under the sea? Buddha (Gautama( was a wealthy Prince who was spoiled by his father. Prince Gautama had many women by his sides, and the most 3 beautiful girls (called Mara's daughters) who almost destroyed his enlightenment. Gautama loved the 3 concubines more than his own wife (first cousin) whom he married. But it was his time to becoming Buddha. He preached of how to end the sufferings.
Francis of Assisi (in Italy) was a son of a very wealthy man in Assisi met a noble beautiful girl Clara, but he found himself to have no more desire of being a wealthy young man. He gave everything his father had to the poor while his father was on his business trips. Francis left home and begged on the streets to feed the poor and the sick (lepers). He begged for piece of stone/rock and bread to feed the poor and to rebuild an abandoned Church.
Francis of Assisi was known to perform many miracles which he claimed that were not from him but from God who did miracles through his body. He met the Sultan of Egypt and preached God's love and peace.
Father Pio in the 20 century miracle man was a poor boy and at 5 he wanted to be a priest. His holy life since 5 until his death was full of miracles. He healed so many sick people around the world, and he too claimed that he did not do those miracles, but God did all through his body.
..So may Holy men who took the vows of poverty, humility and obedience, but we heard nothing about them. We are stucked by Buddha whom we don't even follow His teachings, and if we do then Cambodia should be given to Vietnamese our historic enemy.
I prefer to be an open mind and silently seek a guidance from the a the most unknown powerful or mighty force to guide me to walk on a holy path.
I am a Buddhist by birth, but I chose God, because He allows me to fight and to reclaim my Kingdom against my historic enemy. He will protect me when I am seeking His helps and obeying Him. He will deliver Vietnam to Cambodian someday, in GOD I Trust.

GOD is a Almighty force, or Spirit, we cannot see Soul or Spirit or force but we may feel or sense it.
All Buddhas were humans and they didn't have pictures of photos to prove how they really look-like. But people created status of them, though those status were not really the faces of those Buddhas.
People back then had experienced or witnessed what happened, so they passed the story of Buddhas from one generation to another generation, here wee are, you believe but I don't. I believe everyone can be Buddha but not GOD.
Cambodia was built by Indian men who were Hindu, so the people of Cambodia were fotced to adopt what the leaders ordered, and the leaders were Hindu.
In the middle east, through north Africa (Egypt), people learned and knew their roots (at least from Abraham time).
People back then also had experiences and witnessed in their lives, they wrote through stones and the books (Bible).
The prophecies through many prophets since before King David or before or after Moses that a Messiah will come, and David was born about 500 years before this last Buddha. People didn't just believe it, but they witnessed what happened to them.
GOD is the Almighty One and He can do everything that is impossible to humans. GOD is perfect and He has to be born from a perfect and pure being (Virgin Mary).
GOD incarnated to a holy child (Jesus Christ) born in the virgin Mary whom you are cursing and whom billion people around the world worshiping.
Jesus Christ is an incarnation of GOD, people called GOD the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit after His Resurrection, but the three are ONE.
You joined and listened to the wrong crowd or you may be born as an evil anti-Christ(GOD). There are evils building Temples to make money and there are evils building Churches to becoming rich.
Bu there are real holy men and women building GOD's houses to feed the poor and heal the sick.

Buddha cannot claim to be GOD, because He is not GOD, but a holy man. There are million Hindus reached the level like Buddha, but why aren't they proclaimed Buddhas? If Buddha claimed Himself GOD then Saint Francis of Assisi and many other Saints through Saint Pio can claim that too.
Keep cursing GOD (Christ) as you always do, because soon you will meet HIM on your way out from your body means when your soul departs from your body (your death day). Amen

No Christ was not a bastard. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born in the Virgin Mary.
GOD, Son and the Holy Spirit: are ONE. GOD needs no man with a woman to conceive His Flesh.
