The monks of Wat Chrey in Cambodia’s south east, are embracing the tech world by working with a not-for-profit organization to offer Blessings online. The website OrangeRobes.com was officially launched today.

Making a donation to a Buddhist Temple (Wat) in return for a blessing from a monk is a tradition that is centuries old. OrangeRobes.com now offers this opportunity online.

The monks offer blessings for birthdays, weddings, births, house warmings, or simply for general health and happiness.

Created by Australian couple Adrian and Simone Low, OrangeRobes.com has two main objectives. To give those with a connection to Buddhism or Cambodia, an opportunity to receive blessings online, and also to raise much needed funds for small Cambodian projects.

“This project would not be possible without the support of the monks at Wat Chrey. They have embraced the technology, and are very happy to offer blessings across the world”. “We have had the site running in limited capacity for a few months and have had requests from Australia, US and the UK” said Mr Low

For $9 you can get a personalized Certificate of Blessing emailed to you or a friend. For $20 you can get the certificate posted.

Projects supported by the website include, construction of school buildings, projects supporting the elderly, and community development. For more information about these projects visit http://orangerobes.com

Monks this day are doomed. They are weak and vulnerable in this time of sufferings. They corrupt and are easily to be tempted by the evils, and they are in the hands of the evils. This Australian couple are evils and these monks are evils/ slaves.

I am blessing by my mom. I don't need those monks who always fight for money. Monks who are fresh coming to US are causing trouble at every temples. They are vietcongs, under a stupid leadership of ah fucking Tep Vong.

Do the monks sell indulgence?

Cambodians need all the blessings they can get from monks. Can't you people see how desparate the people are in the country, except for the well to do?

I hope they receive so much blessings that the country cannot contain the abundantness that is flowing in from all over the world.

If that will be the case, Vietnamese will start flowing in and Thailand will also seek to be part of the overflowing blessings that is falling on the Cambodian people. A win win situation. Let it begin.
