PHNOM PENH, August 10 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prince Norodom Ranariddh, president of Norodom Ranariddh Party, announced on Friday that he decided to quit politics from now on in order to focus on humanitarian activities.
"I notice that the monarchy regime in Cambodia is stronger under the protection by the constitutional law and the government of Cambodia led by Prime Minister Hun Sen (sic!) ," the prince said in a statement from France.
"I'd like to declare that, from now on, I stop doing politics and will no longer be responsible for the tasks and decisions of the Norodom Ranariddh Party."
"I will start doing social and humanitarian affairs to contribute to the national development under the reign of the King Norodom Sihamoni," he said.
The prince's surprising announcement to quit politics came more than two months after his attempt to reunite the royalist parties-- the Norodom Ranariddh Party and the Funcinpec Party--failed.
Prince Narariddh is the son of the former King Norodom Sihanouk.
The prince declared to quit politics for the first time in October 2008 after he received a royal pardon for fraud charges, and he re-entered politics in December 2010.

I am glad that fool quit politic.
This is a good news for Cambodian people, because this fool did not know how to talk. He talked like his killer 3 million father.

Talking about the law in Khmer is very ridiculous, folks. But the good thing is anyone who has a good connection from - inside out, good relationship with the top leaders or ta tout and yeay tout [SIC.]then you guy will be Okay. No matter of what you do,especially,deal with bad stuff ,etc. Even though you never getting punished from any authority at all. However, if you get caught by intentional or unintentional from the manpower, you must immediately let your strong connection know then they will give you a green light/PARDON to free you right away. Oh, one more thing that you also need to know that is only the good people and Khmer nationalist stay in Jail most of the time,but only the crime acted never punish. What is a nice justice of Khmer .
3 million death has not been brouyhgt to justice because of his families.
This fool led a lot of his followers to die during the uprising. Many of his followers were sent to prison at Presar and died. This evil person fled to French and enyoyed the good life.

Remember during the KR area, everyboy accused of every body else that how the 3 million people were death. Youn is the bad person. However, the Khmer people are more evil because we the one accused each other and killed each other. I had too many families dies over nothing.
