KI-Media Note: An anonymous reader who sent the top photo above indicated that the theater may be owned by movie producer Vann Chan who lived in the building next door to the theater. Mr. Vann Chan disappeared after the 18 March 1970. While rumors floated that he was a Vietcong general, it could be that he was simply eliminated by someone who did not like him. Davy Chou who tried to revive Cambodia's old films on the international scene claimed that he is the grandson of Vann Chan.

remembered so well the picture of the city Phnom Penh from 1966 and their environments, just 3 years before I have to leave the Country for ever.
Phnom Penh was a very nice city and have had very lovely and polite Khmer people.
For all reasons, that make me so sad and I will always love our country Cambodia and all the Khmer people.
Van Chan don't worry KPPM going to make vietmin and Vitname including China in one trap in the near future and we going to clearn them up soon as you can see all communist they move to the one small place on earth and WTO is the key of Capitalism to lock and unlock of the action communism so they are have no place to go and the only one question ? i like to asking you ..Did you see the communist maket in W T O ?
