On September 25, 2012, opposition leader Sam Rainsy wrote the following letter to The Cambodia Daily:

In “Opposition Parties Threaten to Boycott Next Year ‘s Elections”(September 25, page 20) Mr. Koul Panha, executive director of the Committee for Free and Fair Elections in Cambodia, is quoted as saying that a boycott by the two main opposition parties would have a negative effect on the elections, and that “even the CPP would get a less credible result.”
In fact, any election in 2013 without the participation of the Sam Rainsy Party (SRP) and the Human Rights Party (HRP) – which are in the process of merging to form a united democratic opposition under the banner of the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) – would just be meaningless.
Cambodia’s political landscape has dramatically changed. There are now only two competing political blocks: the ruling CPP and the opposition CNRP. No other party is likely to get any representation at the National Assembly at the upcoming polls. If we translate the plummeting votes they obtained at the June commune elections into National Assembly seats, the two small royalist parties aligned with the CPP – Funcinpec and the Norodom Ranariddh Party (NRP) – stand to lose the four parliamentary seats they now have (out of 123). This leaves only the CPP and the CNRP.
There can't be a two-party race if the two parties don't take part. Mr. Koul Panha’s comment therefore errs only in the sense of understatement. The CPP’s inevitable landslide victory in the event of a boycott would be just as meaningless as that achieved last Sunday by the ruling party in Belarus. The communist-type government there left the democratic opposition with no option but to boycott the elections after it imprisoned opposing politicians and created criminal records to prevent others from standing.

Why are you all so naive for? Khmer leaders are being controlled by both viets and Chinese and Hun Sen is under their spelt. We need to help our leaders to turn around and not to trust no one, accept try to work with our own fellow khmer citizens only e.g. Chea Sim, Han Surin and Hun Sen are actually Viets plus Lou Ming Kien and a number of others are Chinese!. can't you see! Cambodia is not independent, it is being controlled by other nations pretending to be Khmers but they are not. They are basically working for the benefit of their interests, that is Viets and Chinese. Wake up brothers and sisters, we need to tell the international community to help us to get out of their control ASAP. Once the US told the king you have no choice, you either be with us or with the VC and the king said 'neutral' but he did not get it, the word ''no choice", sadly he listened to the Viets' manipulation saying 'if you are with the US, you will no long be king but I can help you do that',. So, the king decided to be part of the VC but only help to destroy his own people instead. You see, if he listened to the US, he would still be king, just like the Thai king and the VC could have lost the war against the South. You see, in the end the king was a traitor and still is a traitor as long as he shall live. So, what do we do? we must tell the international community that we are not part of the king's evil, we are innocent khmers and victims of political scandal. We want our freedom and freewill to act and live with dignity just like every other nation does. So, wake up everyone! do something.

Yes, Yuon/Vietnamese folks are stupid to do bad things from the first places. That is why they deserved to be hated and be disgusted in this world. Yuon/Vietnamese (Yuon-Cambodian born) bloggers in Long Beach, CA are unbelievable and evil because they support CPP (Yuon/Vietnamese Masters' dirty plans to gain the Khmer territory for themselves) and they like to show off their dirty wealth and stupid businesses. American people will find out about how bad and dirty Yuon/Vietnamese refugees and folks in the U.S. including around the world.
