PHNOM PENH, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia is very proud of excellent relationship with China and believes that the ties will be further enhanced in the future, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sok An, Minister in charge of the Council of Ministers, said Wednesday evening.
"Our two governments and peoples are very proud that our relation has been strengthened and upgraded to the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation in recent years," he said during the celebration of the 63rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China (Oct.1, 1949- Oct 1, 2012).
The event was attended by some 300 people, including Cambodian senior government officials, foreign diplomats, Chinese businessmen and Chinese residing in Cambodia.
"I'm strongly confident that the long lasting bond of friendship between our countries and peoples, which has been enhanced and expanded through our 54 years of diplomatic relation, will be crucially important for our future generations," he added.
Speaking at the event, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Pan Guangxue highly spoke on close relationship between China and Cambodia in politics, trade, investment, education and culture.
He said the ties have been constantly strengthened and expanded through the exchange of visits by the two countries' top leaders.
"China is ready to make joint effort with Cambodia and provide mutual support in order to strengthen traditional friendship and deepen cooperation between the two countries," the ambassador said.
He also stressed China's stance, saying that the country would continue to firmly stick to the path of peaceful development as well as its commitment to safeguarding world peace and common development for common prosperity.

Hun is playing the same game as R king ta did. He was flip, flop and flap and in the end, he is the one who is helping to kill his own people. With Chinese, everywhere they go and they would use a diplomatic dialogue like, 'now we are brothers', recently, they said that Maxico is their good brother as well. So, we must learn from WWII where both Viets and Chinese had to use their tactic of deception but both were and are working for their national interests and basically, you can't blame them, unlike, king ta and sihanock, well, actually they are being fooled by them all the times e.g. Chinese has up to 56 nations under a one roof and Viets so far, took Laos, Champa, khmer krom, Indigenous people like Mong and now is the whole srok khmer as well as planning to take on Thailand and its nearby etc, why? to build a one great empire in the southeast asia. In the end, half will be influence by the Chinese and another half will be influced by the Viets. Therefore, we need to tell the world about this issue to prevent from another genocide to ever happen again to any one else. So, wake up people!
