I wonder if the person who quoted this ever read the Bible? I was reading the bible this week that kidnapping is a crime worthy of death. If a slave escaped his master he is not to be return back to his master. Ethnic cleansing? Sound like he doesn't understand why God ordered Israel to destroy certain groups of people. If those people were allowed to live, this world would have been worse off than is now.
God made man in his image and taught him wisdom, but man use his wisdom to deny the very one who taught him wisdom. Every time Ms Theary Seng posts the Biblical History, somebody would attack GOD by bringing up their incompetent English men to prove their points or to be their witnesses.
What is so important about this lunatic gay English man named Christopher Hitchens? The last time they picked their English mad man Hawkins who was so angry with GOD for his disease to prove their point.
England is losing ground, more Muslims are everywhere in a small England, more people go to Mosques and less and less people go to Churches, whereas 92% American people including 51% Scientists strongly believe in GOD.

About your question, no humans can accurately answer your question, you may have to be sincere to the highest power and meditate and pray for the answer yourself. From my understanding of the Biblical history, that GOD referred to Alpha the beginning and OMEGA the end. Christ was GOD Himself who incarnated from Almighty Force/Spirit to human in flesh.
There are too many Buddhas rose from Hindu men, each man claimed to incarnate too many lives in order to becoming a Buddha. At lest this last one "Gotama" has scholars learned about said "Gotama Buddha said he was not the 1st Buddha nor He will be the last Buddha. There were too many Buddhas before Him, and there will be more Buddhas coming". Every human can becoming Buddha if he practices Dharma.
So the age you are talking about is against the Incarnation theory.
Just because the last Buddha named Gotama was born more than 2500's before GOD (Christ) who came as a human form in 2012 does not mean Gotama is older than GOD. OUR current Body can be seen and can represent the age we are displaying, but the soul/spirit is million or billion years old.

I think, GOD only exists to whom, GOD appears or communicates with, but those who are never met or sense of GOD presence, would attack and bash GOD until the end of time. Some among them changed their views when they witnessed many miracles that unexplained, some continue to attack/bash GOD.
My true story I must share with readers. My Dad appeared to be an Atheist, a mean and prejudice against GOD. I started to talk to GOD in my own feeling and my own words since I was so young (~4 year old), but I didn't know what was GOD. I love to sing and pray in my own words communicating with GOD.
One day while my Dad was sick he silently told me "Your GOD is with you..." He sounded he's going to die, then suddenly my Dad become so ill and he was dying in his deathbed.
Not too longs ago I had a clear vision (Dream) meeting GOD, and every living creatures were taken by supernatural force to be judged, and no one can escape. I did not see GOD's face but only His back and His tallest Body sitting toward the sky, His covered with a White Robe like Christ. I was trying to run from behind His back toward the front to see His face, but I could never make it, I remained at the same spot that I started to run.
Then my soul right away knew that I was doing bad but not so bad, just bad like other children did. I was not having enough good deeds to see GOD face to face, so I stopped running. I talked to Him inside my mind "Lord, please give me a second chance to do good..." In a second I returned to my apartment and then I woke up with fear. Since then I made peace with GOD and with others, either they curse GOD or curse me.
My vision was real and if I lied, May I be sent to hell with fire, but I am telling the truth, May I be sent back to reborn on my next life to always do good helping to feed the poor and take care the sick poor people who are helpless. I in this life am helping other needy if I can do. Little or a lot I do help. Amen.

I read one honest question on the post. I love the truth of God's Word. You know, everything you buy nowday comes with a manual. Well, the bible is our manual how to live our lives according to God's ways. I get my wisdom from learning to know God's ways. God does have many enemies by their own making but not by him.
God is not mocked, whatever a man soweth that shall he also reaps. Atheists will reap what they have sown, nothing. This is what they wanted in the after life, nothing. Sound like Buddism beliefs too?
60-70 years of life span on earth is very short compares to eternity that has no ending, especially when everything is purged from the power of sin. If we, believers of the Bible are wrong, we have nothing to lose. But if the scoffers and mockers are wrong, they have eternal damnation of no end to suffering for their little life that they had wasted here on earth for temporal pleasure.

It's said that GOD is Alpha the begining and Omega the end, He INCARNATED to a human flesh 2012 years ago. BC or AD does not have anything to do with the Holy Spirit of GOD. The Roman created the calendar BC or AD of Christ (or the day of GOD's incarnation to be a human flesh), 2012 was not the age of GOD, GOD is Alpha and Omega. We are living among the Physical Beings (Human Bodies) and the non-Physical beings (supernatural (unseen force) that is mightier to Almighty unseen being called GOD).
Furthermore, you totally misunderstood between the "Universe" and the "Planets" such as "Earth". The "Universe" is 3 billion years old? Where did you learn it from?
The fact, no one knows the age of the "Universe". The "universe" is unknown (not knonw) to Science. The Universe is everything exists including Planets, Stars, Galaxies,... all matter and energy.
But humans can only guess the age of this "Earth" we are living, and its age is approximately about 4.5 billion years old "based on evidence from radiometric age dating of meteorite material and is consistent with the ages of the oldest-known terrestrial and lunar samples."
