នាយកប្រតិបត្តិទទួលបន្ទុកផ្នែកអាស៊ី នៃអង្គការសិទ្ធិមនុស្សអន្តរជាតិ (Human Rights Watch) លោក ប្រែដ អាដាម (Brad Adams) នៅថ្ងៃទី៦ តុលា មានប្រសាសន៍ថា ធាតុពិត លោក ម៉ម សូណង់ដូ និងពលរដ្ឋនៅខេត្តក្រចេះ មិនបានបង្កើតតំបន់អបគមន៍ដូចតុលាការចោទប្រកាន់នោះទេ។ លោកបន្តថា រដ្ឋាភិបាលចេញសេចក្តីថ្លែងការណ៍ និងបរិយាយវាយបកចំពោះមតិរិះគន់ ក្នុងរឿងក្តីលោក ម៉ម សូណង់ដូ ជាប្រការគួរឲ្យព្រួយបារម្ភ ចំពោះសេរីភាពបញ្ចេញមតិរបស់ពលរដ្ឋកម្ពុជា។
លោក ប្រែដ អាដាម បញ្ជាក់ថា តុលាការកម្ពុជាមិនមានភស្តុតាងណាមួយច្បាស់លាស់រឹងមាំ ដើម្បីដាក់បន្ទុកលោក ម៉ម សូណងដូ នោះទេ៖ «សេចក្ដីថ្លែងការណ៍របស់ក្រសួងការបរទេសកម្ពុជា បញ្ជាក់ថា លោក ម៉ម សូណង់ដូ ជាក្បាលម៉ាស៊ីនចលនាអបគមន៍នោះ វាមិនអាចទៅរួចឡើយ ហើយជាការលើកឡើងមិនសមហេតុផល។ ខ្ញុំគិតថា វាជាសញ្ញាមួយគួរឲ្យព្រួយបារម្ភ»។
ការរិះគន់នេះ ធ្វើឡើងបន្ទាប់ពីសេចក្តីថ្លែងការណ៍របស់អ្នកនាំពាក្យក្រសួងការបរទេស និងសហប្រតិបត្តិការអន្តរជាតិ ចេញផ្សាយកាលពីថ្ងៃទី៥ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ២០១២ បានលើកឡើងមាន ៥ចំណុច ដូចជា ចំណុចទី១ រឿងក្តីលោក ម៉ម សូណង់ដូ និងគូកន មិនមែនជារឿងនយោបាយនោះទេ។ ចំណុចទី២ តុលាការសម្រេចដាក់ទោសលោក ម៉ម សូណង់ដូ តាមរយៈភស្តុតាងជាក់ស្ដែង បង្ហាញថា លោក ម៉ម សូណង់ដូ ជាក្បាលម៉ាស៊ីននៃចលនាអបគមន៍។ ចំណុចទី៣ ករណីលោក ម៉ម សូណង់ដូ មិនប៉ះពាល់ដល់វិទ្យុសំបុកឃ្មុំឡើយ។ ចំណុចទី៤ ការរិះគន់ ការសម្រេចទោសរបស់តុលាការ ជះឥទ្ធិពលដល់ឯករាជ្យភាពរបស់តុលាការកម្ពុជា។ ចំណុចទី៥ កម្ពុជាមិនអនុញ្ញាតឲ្យបង្កើតតំបន់អបគមន៍បានទេ។
