Please Khmer Elders, we need your help

Dear respected Khmer Elders,

As all of you already know that Cambodia will host the 21st ASEAN Summit this November 18, 2012. For this occasion all eyes will be on the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh.

It is our duty to attract the attention of the world leaders, as US President Barack Obama, who will attend this event and Khmer people about the true nature of the Phnom Penh regime. Due to our professional deadlines, we, Khmer young people, can not write about this very critical issues.

Maybe we should focus on the following topics:
  1. Totalitarianism, usage of violence and murders to repress Khmer people.
  2. Abuses of Human Rights.
  3. Systemic corruption, misuse international aid while Khmer people are living in the extreme poverty.
  4. Renounce to Cambodia’s sovereignty for personal and party power; abuse Paris Peace Agreements.

The recent report of Surya Subedi and the one of Human Rights Watch “Tell Them That I Want to Kill Them” are our best references for that work.

Thank you so much for your patriotic help.

Best regards

Kith Chamroeun
