As indicated in CCHR's HRD Alert - on 4 December 2012, in the afternoon, Mr. San Samneang was questioned by the investigating judge at Battambang provincial court. San Samneang was asked some questions pertaining to the land conflict in the area. The main question asked was, “Did you damage the property or use violence?” Sam Samneang rejected all accusations against him during the questioning. He said that he was not present in the area at the time of any damage to property or violence.
After 35 minutes of questioning, the Prosecutor suggested that the Investigating Judge should detain Sam Samneang. The Judge considered this and asked Sam Samneang's lawyer to provide a conclusion for his case. The lawyer stated that his client did not commit any crime and so should be released. He also mentioned that many NGOs were following the progress of this case. After the lawyer delivered his argument, the Judge decided not to detain San Samneang.

The death members and supporters want justice to be done at America and International courts.
What have you done so far for them?
Are you still using the death members and supporters put on the table and negotiate with Hun Sen again and again? If Hun Sen say NO Mr Sam Rainsy scream will sue Hun Sen but if Hun Sen say OK than Mr Sam Rainsy is not sue Hun Sen. Are the lifes of your death members and supporters just your tool for negotiate with Hun Sen for your opportunities only? That is why President Obama didn't mention your name in Cambodia.
