Internship Opportunity: IT Intern
The Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR) is seeking to recruit a Cambodian Candidates for the full time position of IT Intern for a period of six months to work in our office in Phnom Penh. The selected candidates will work closely Project of “Information Sharing for Evidence-Based Research, Dialogue and Advocacy to Improve Respect for Human Rights in Cambodian (Sithi project)” based in Phnom Penh. S/he will receive a modest monthly stipend.
CCHR is a non-political, independent, non-governmental organization that works to promote and protect democracy and respect for human rights throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia.
REQUIREMENTS
• Recent University graduate in Computer Sciences and Engineering (IT)
• Basic knowledge about Network Maintenance such as Computer problem and Printer Problem.
• Basic knowledge about web design such as PHP, HTML, Java script, Ajax, JQuery, MySql, Photoshop, any other design software related is preferable
• Basic knowledge on human rights and law related is preferable
• Fair command in English language—reading, writing and speaking;
• Interest in the situation of human rights and the state of democracy in Cambodia.
• Honest, hardworking and willing to learn;
• Have good communication skill;
Duties and Responsibility:
Working under the supervision of Sithi’s team, the successful candidate will be required to work on matters including:
• Assist the team to develop website and to encode data into the website.
• Provide technical support and general administration to the team as required.
• Assist the teams to maintain Computer Network and ensures that it is working properly.
