Dr. Lao Mong Hay has fully right to express his opinion related to Khmer Krom and Koh Tral. It is his freedom of speech, however, it makes extreme opposition supporters and extreme Khmer Krom go mad :)
Of course Dr. Lao Mong Hay is right to say that Khmer Krom and Koh Tral issues were done and dushed. If we think about national interest, we should protect our current land and move forward...Indeed, Khmer Krom wants to have independent state seperates from Cambodia. Thus, please don't drag Cambodia into a dispute with Vietnam. Khmer Krom shall do whatever they like against Vietnam but please leave Cambodia alone.
