Call it invading if you want. But to smooth out relations with your neighbors you need to tone it down a bit. Besides, who was going to step in to stop the onslaught? So my conclusion to this is that we were at the mercy of any intervention. It was a double edge sword for us. I just don't see what good is it for someone to keep preaching it as a invasion when the collateral part was ending a systematic killings from all spectrum. That means Khmers, Siams, and Vietnam all killing Khmers. So don't see the killings as a one party game. We were already killing ourselves from inside out. I am referring to even Sihanouk era with massive corruptions.
We should just dust our shoulders off and march to a better future with what we have left. Keeping this anger only means more destruction to our country because some fool is going to decide one day we will launch the first strike at Vietnam to get Koh Trial back. Strike Thailand to get the Khmer Surin back.
We should just focus on getting the country on track to be a formidable force in the region. That I believe we can with all the resource we have before the corrupt officials blunder them all. That's all folks!
