CEDAC Press Invitation to the First National Conference on Organic Rice Mill Cooperativ​es

CEDAC, in cooperation with Farmer and Nature Net (FNN), is organizing the First National Conference on Organic Rice Mill Cooperatives. CEDAC is aiming to support 100,000 subsistence rice farmers to become prosperous commercial organic farmers and key local investors in cooperative businesses.

WHAT: The First National Conference on Organic Rice Mill Cooperatives

WHEN: January 3-4, 2013, at 8:00 am

WHERE: At the Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC)

WHY: To present the progress of rice mill cooperatives in Cambodia, to announce the districts/communities that will be given grants to build rice mill machine in 2013, and to prepare a strategic plan to increase rice mill cooperative members in 2013.

WHO: -300 representatives from organic rice producer groups and farmer savings associations
