Prime Minster Yingluck Shinawatra should muzzle her foreign minister to stop him damaging Thai-Cambodian relations, Democrat spokesman Chavanond Intarakomalyasut says.

He said yesterday Surapong Tovichakchaikul's remarks about the Preah Vihear temple row are harming the country's interests. Mr Surapong's actions also ran contrary to Ms Yingluck's call for all parties to refrain from politicising the issue, he added. Mr Surapong last week recited remarks by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, who said the previous Abhisit Vejjajiva government had a hidden agenda against Cambodia.
