A Cambodian human rights group says the move to restrict the country's lawyers from speaking to the media is a "new low".

The Cambodian Government says lawyers must have permission from the Bar Council before accepting any invitation to speak with the media.
Ou Virak, president of the Cambodian Centre for Human Rights, has told Radio Australia's Connect Asia program it is one of many measures the government is using to limit public discussion as the country approaches its national election in July this year.
"This is a major blow not just for freedom of expression but also for our push for rule of law and the independence of the judiciary as well," he said.
The government says the rule is intended to prevent "negative consequences upon the people".
Mr Virak says the rule is unconstitutional.
"It's only intended to control those who have been publicly critical of the judiciary, those who have been publicly critical of political cases," he said.
All practising lawyers in Cambodia must be a member of the Bar Council.
Mr Virak says international donors working on rule of law programs and raising legal awareness among the population should hold the Cambodian Government accountable.
"I think donors who work on pushing for rule of law and democracy, they need to speak up," he said.

One of the reasons why the Chinese leader calling king Hacmoni to come to China and to use sickness as an excuse, because the Chinese found out about the Viet and the Khmer traitor Hun Sen's intention. They both wanted to eliminate both kingta and now his son from being king.

Therefore, Hun and his Dynasty's days are numbered. At the moment, the Chinese promised to kIngta that they will look after king Hacmoni (his son) and promissed to take care of him and not only that, they promissed to take the thrown back from Hun sin and will give it back to his son.
At the same time, the Chinese knew that the VC and traitor Hun sin wanted to eleminate kingta and his son in so many occasions but luckily Kingta listened to the Chinese and fled away. But no need to worry, the Chinese said to kingta 'don't worry, everything is under control, if the VC dare, they will take over the VN and this time, khmers will regain its kingdom once and for all'.
Now, it looks like time is up. King Hacmoni is going to a safe place while preparing Chinese is preparing for world war III. Therefore, what goes around comes around VC. You rob us and killed many of us but who will kill you and rob from you?...'justice will be done on earth and in heaven'.
Right now, I can't wait to see the Hun and his dynasty go down. Hun Sin = Hun Minh= Ho Chi Minh, the Hun Dynasty are the VC in born who is pretending to be khmer, no wonder, they have no heart, no feeling for our khmer people.
