L'bokkator is only ONE KHMER STYLE OF MARTIAL ART. Usually it never fight WITH BARE HANDS at all. It used 2 short sticks, or two short machetes stored inside a single scabbard with hand wrist protection like Pirate sword. Anybody can find 2 sets of them in Sala Rachana museum in Phnom Penh.
There are many Khmer styles of martial arts such as: Kun Dai, Kun Pee (2 short sticks), Kun DamBorng Vaeng, Kun Dao, Kun Ph'keak Sam Ang,
Before posting, please make sure he/she had made research on the Martial art first.
In Bokator, there are short sticks, long sticks, swords fighting and so on. Can we say Kun DamBorng Veng a martial art of its own? I doubt that. How many fighting techniques are there in the Kun Damborng Veng? 5-10? Is there any black belt in Kun Damborng Veng. Never heard of it.
