I think we have those VANAYOT signs in our grammar, but is just that we don't tend to use them often.

I wish I still had that grammar book I used to read some 30 years ago to refresh. I lost it now.

I used comma when I was writing my composition in grade school. What is the fuss about?

Ly Theam Teng in one of his books entitled "Explaining Khmer Cultural Words" used both the comma and space to separate words.

Pissed Off

Note: I will scan a few pages of the book and send them to KI Media.

ខ្ញុំបើកមើលវច្ចនានុក្រមខ្មែរគឺឃើញមានការប្រើ
សញ្ញា (, ; : ៖) ជាដើម ដើម្បី

Hun sen i love you and want to continue to support you but i hate when you give Khmer land to viet and allow a lot of viet people came in to Khmer land and allow these scum viet do every thing they want but when we Khmer living in their country they give us Khmer a hard time. we give a lot of land to viet already Hun sen yourself should not allow their people came to live in our land unless Hun sen have a better method to viet people such as they do to us Khmer when we live in viet country. if hun sen see viet people better than you own people you hun sen will like me Ung mi the khmer royal who marriage. she is see viet is better than her own people finally when viet got every thing in their hand at the end this fucking royal get kill by viet and you might be the same destination as her if you see viet people is better than your own.

As far as I know, Khmer language uses space instead of comma or virgule.

I don't know when did they start using comma.

Besides, I personally think that we should stop using the "legs" to accommodate the computer keyboard era.

In this world, how many languages that used "legs", "hats", and "hairs" like our language?

It is so inconvenient, and time consuming to type our language.

Look at the evolution of the computer's operating system: Windows
They started from DOS, windows 3.1, NT, windows 95, 98, 2000, Me, XP, Vista, windows 2000, windows 7 and 8.

They keep improving to make it better.

We should do something to improve our language too.

You'd better patch up your rusty Khmer language.

People in Cambodia now have lost the correct way of writing and speaking Khmer language. They use nouns as verbs and verbs as nouns, etc. And they think they are so smart, educated and advanced.

Talking about legs- words that once used to be simplified now are being spelled with legs making them harder and cumbersome.

Everyone is their own master now.

It goes with the anarchic regime.
