Before he become a Khmer Viet Minh then became Khmer Rouge between 1975-1979 Heng Samrin was a cattle thief known as Avek.
Note: Heng Samrin was a military commander of Hun Sen between 1975-1979.

Note: Other former Khmer Viet Minh who become Khmer Rouge between 1975-1979 were:
1. So Phim.
2. Rhos Nhim.
3. Kea Meas.

5. Norn Sourn.
All above former Khmer Viet were send in S 21 and all were killed except So Phim who killed himself in 1978, So Phim was in law with Rhos Nhim between 1975-1978.

Many true sources of history are with the heroes, figures and elites as well as criminals who were in the prison for long time.
Mom Sonando can do if have someone support him to buying some walking rights in the prison from one room to one room, cross one building to one building.
But the truth, many politician sonly need the profits of Mr. Mom Sonando died or stayed in the prison, not have the reall mind to help Mr. Mom Sonando, but they have a lot of sweet words to get the profit from him.
Khmer people who live abroad like to help only the cheaters with the sweet words, but I never saw Khmer Americans help the true politician to USA, in constrast, they help and guarantee only faked politicians and spies of CPP to USA. How stupid are Khmer Americans?
In history, who is the real Khmer poiticians that Khmer Americans ever help? No, Nothing.

Must know character of communists, if they want to kill they kill, and if they want to catch Loun Savat to put in the prison, they can put Loun Savan in the prison all his life, no wrong, and no Untied Nations, or NGOs can help.
Except Loun Savat is a spy of CPP or he can release easily and can go abroad easily.
In Khmer history, No real Khmer politicians can be guaranteed to abroad by Khmer Americans, except faked Khmer nationalists like Meach Sovanara, Keo Hanh, .....etc.

Khmer Americans help a lots of poor Khmers in Cambodia, and also supported the freedom politicians in term of voices. Khmer Americans are a lot smarter than you think.
Your English didn't even makes sense, how the hell you understand about Khmer Americans. We lived outside the country, we see better than you. For you, just clueless, brainsless, except blame, blame without any prove.
