Cambodia Encouraging More Women In Politics, Social Development [-All talk, no action?]

PHNOM PENH, March 8 (Bernama) -- Cambodia on Friday celebrated the 102nd anniversary of the International Women's Day, urging more women to participate in political, social and economic activities, Xinhua news agency reported.

Addressing the celebration at the capital's Peace Palace, Prime Minister Hun Sen encouraged more women to run in the forthcoming parliamentary election in order to increase women's presence in political, social and economic activities.

The country sets to hold a general election on July 28 this year.

The prime minister said "the government always focuses its attention on women and gives importance to enhancing women's roles in society."

"More importantly, the Cambodian people always recognize and see women as the mother of the world and the backbone of social and economic development," he added.

Minister of Women's Affairs Ing Kantha Phavi said the celebration, under the theme "Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities to Accelerate Progress", was to commemorate women's advocacy for equal rights and value in the development of families and societies.

Since Hun Sen encourages more women in politics why don't Theary Seng join politics and runs as member of parliament? Many other courageous opposition members should also join; this is best time to join now.

Well, after carefully examines on Suon Serey Sotha issue , I came to the conclusion that, PM is paying this person to get what he wants. In other words, Mr Suon is a spy for the CPP. He cons Mr Mam Sonando that it is ok for him to enter the country but sadly only to be put in jail.

Right now, Hun Sen is using another tectic to call upon females educated to be involved in this political game but who would trust him now since, he is so good at lying, manipulation and cheating. I have to say to all educated female players to be very careful because Hun tactic is no different from a VC ideal of 'killing two birds with one stone', and their aim is to eliminate all the khmer educated people, so that they can easily take control of Cambodia.

PM himself is also being used by this group of a VC. Therefore, how can we trust such a regime ever again. What if we enter cambodia and only to be landed in jail just like Mam Sonando. This is what a VC wanted to see, that is 'khmer kills khmer' when in fact, they are using Hun Sen to do all the dirty works for them and then, would say ' Hun Sen is my dog, when I tell to sit, he sits'. Please PM who can we trust now? How are you going to guarentee the safety of our educated ones?.

The only way to prove this is, to let all the educated ones free from being jailed and you got to do it right now, to prove to the world that cambodia is safe from being controlled by such a regime. PM needs to learn to believe in our people aims and ambitions like, who ony want what is best for our nation, definately not to believe in the outsiders' ideal because no one in this world would want you to be better than them but instead are willing to use you and abuse like their slave.

Please be aware of such importand component with our real world. But no matter what, it is never too late to learn from past mistakes and avoid future ones to ever happen again. The truth is, our value and dignity of the 'human being' is everything and to lose that, we have nothing left. That is why other nations are so successful, mainly because they use the skills of comform, that is, by respecting each others' ideology and then would vote upon those ideas to settle such issue. In this way, we avoid conflict at all cost and as well showing to the world that we are a strong nation....

PM must not let the outsiders get the benefit of our internal conflict. We must show them that 'we are one and we khmers). Our country will not move forward unless this is done accordingly.
