NO, Buddhism has never been a good religion for Khmer people. Because its theory is based on the 3 monkey e,g have ears, no hear, have eyes, no see and have mouth, no talk. Most monks are so lazy, just sit there to be serve by women, men and children. One acts like he is more supperior than others e.g. as if he is god. The truth is, no man is above god. But this religion is to brainwash our believers and only to be robbed by the monks. These monks are now replaced by VC monks, in order to steal everything that khmers have.
Cambodian will not be at peace unless truth god is found and is worshipped. Just try to learn from the past and you will see the future, simple as that!
I supported it before, but my money had never listed how it used or what is being used. All of the sudden, the big sex scandal headline across the Globe. I was shocked and awe with the ugly new.
The members have not yet cleaned up the mess, and at least inform us where is the head monk named Sao Khon (the Hochimonk alike), Nhem Kimteng (the sex maniac monk, trained from Hanoi)and Maya Men (the evil within) whereabouts?

From what I heard that most Khmer Buddhist Temples are being controlled by few who have their hands on the donations. They cheated and stole for their own interest. In California 4 million dollars lawsuit, ...in Maryland monks flirting, /...in Texas the members husband and wife live in Temple and have money to spend like in Beverly Hill, in Mananas, the temple is under one woman named Sharun Doung (1/2 Khmer and 1/2 Yuon), ...so many cannot count all.
Our Buddhist community is for business only after all.
FIX the Problems first before you all show your faces and ask for money.
If not WE Khmers will LEAVE your SCAM for good.
I am a Khmer who was cheated by fake Temple at Lowell.
The winner/conqueror created a NATION, and CULTURE.
Buddhism is not Khmers' first Religion and Culture. It was Hinduism about thousand years. Buddhism is new Religion and it is about 800 years that's all.
Buddhism was adopted by Jayavaraman 7, and was legalized in late 13th Century.
Questions in many new Khmer generation' minds:
(Q) Why Jayavaraman 7 adopted a foreign Weakest Religion while Thais and Yuon were coming surrounding the Wealthy and Powerful Empire?
(A1) Was Jayavaman 7 scared of the wars that the two new commers arrived may bring upon the Empire that was why he chose this weakest Cult to may it can influence the new comers from slaughters?
(A2) Was Jayavaraman 7 persuaded by someone within his court (spies) who was the closest to him (Thai or Yuon Concubines?) that Buddhism did fit his Empire?
The History of course did not write about secret within his reign/rule, but we new generation analyze why the man who ruled/reigned the Wealthy and Powerful Empire adopted such a WEAKEST Cult while "Thai and Yuon" surrounding the Empire?
Undoubtedly, this new Buddhism not only WEAKEST but DESTROYS the Nation due to the facts that there're too many (million men/boys) flocked to becoming monks to reach their so called "Nirvana", and left the nation's economy frozen.
Those million monks relied on the people to feed them, to bow to their feet, while they do nothing but eating and having a good life.
No Nation survives when its Economy collapses. The Empire's economy collapsed and here we are continuing to LIE, CHEAT Khmers that Buddhism is Khmer Heritage, therefore we must support.
We LOST the Nation to Thai now all to Yuon, still Khmer Buddhists do not stop their LIEs and LIEs.
The money they raised have never or ever used to HELP our poor people here or at back home but for their own sanity only.
Conclusion: Buddhism is NOT Khmer Heritage. Why? The Facts Angkor Wat and Preah Vihear are the living proofs of Khmer Heritage.
These most famous Temples were built by Hindu not by Buddhists even if the Khmer Buddhists tried to install their Idolatry Buddha inside of the Hindu Temple, still cannot cheat the History that these great famous Temples were not built by the Buddhists but by the Khmer Hindu.
Since Khmer Hindu created the Empire and built the great famous Temples (Angkor Wat & Preah Vihear) including Apsara and Royal dance, therefore Khmer Heritage is Hinduism NOT Buddhism.
If they still insist, then Khmers can choose/create another NEW tradition/culture so to fit their desires.

Putting Buddha sculpture inside the Hindu Temple Angkor Wat is a greatest INSULT to the builder, King Suryavaraman II.
Khmer Buddhists are Cursed by King Suryavaraman II. The King's soul abandoned Khmer Buddhists and he chose Yuon Sok Kong instead.
Khmer Heritage is Hinduism and Buddhism combined. But Khmers are being too influenced by Buddhism than Hinduism.
When they are too and too deep shit in Buddhism they are fallen away from the real teachings of Buddha, they becoming EVILS and they targeted the elderly people who collect a few hundred dollars from their social security (from our tax payers), sad but true.
I am not with the fanatic believers, and as a matter of fact, I saw the Khmer Christians do have Apsara dancing and a lot more folklore dancing in their Church during Khmer New Year. They too preserve their traditional culture for being Christians. Why only Buddhists think that they are?
The different between Khmer Buddhists and Khmer Christians is that the Buddhists have monks and the Christians have no monks business in it, and the money the Christians raised goes to feed and help the poor people in Cambodia and help who need like sick etc..
So the Khmer Heritage is not Buddhism but Hinduism.

AMEN, you took my words. I keep talking about that a while back… Cambodia and those disgraced people are cursed by our Great kings, the founders of Khmer Empire and civilization that why Cambodia is always be a bloodbath and those who live being killed since then. Khmer Nation and civilization was founded on Hinduism, not Buddhism, a strong nation with great and nice people, joyful, honest, loving, generous, hard workers with great vision of the world and of humanity .. just to cite few.
After historical documents, Buddhism was a religion that is worshiped and tolerated in Cambodia at least since Founan period but it was minority. Hinduism was the State religious to which Khmer culture, mentality and State fundamental rules and leadership bond its source. Buddhism Hinayana was imposed by the winners/colonizers after religious revolution at Angkor as yuon imposed communism to Cambodians to now…

A year ago, Khmer Monks sent us e-mail to support Bonn for our ancestors who built us great Temple Angkor Wat & Preah Vihear. He even further said our greatest King Jayavaraman VII built Angkor Wat.
That was pissed me off. I harshly criticized that monk "You are monk and you don't know your own history about which King King built Angkor Wat, then why are you condemning Yuon who knew our Khmer history than us?" He denied and said that was a typo.
I continued to criticize him "You know what? The great Kings who built the great Temple Angkor Wat & Preah Vihear cursing all of you for never honoring them except honoring a fool Jayavaraman 7 who legalized a weakest Buddhism".
Not only that Jay 7 destroyed the Hindu scared and replaced it with their stone Buddha.
The curse goes on upon Khmers and now Angkor Wat is given to Yuon Sok Kong. Preah Vihear under war, but soon Yuon will share with Thai for business booming.

Khmer Empire was found and created by a servant of GOD, his named Jayavaraman 2.
Preah Vihear was built by another servant of GOD, his named was Soryvaraman I.
He did not finish, so after his death, King Soryavaraman II, the another servant of GOD completed building.
Soryavaraman II also built Angkor Wat, the most famous Temple in the world.
When Buddhism was legalized in the late 13th century, then the Big Curse dropped on Khmers until today.
Not ONCE that these Evil Buddhists ever make a ceremony asking the Hindu Kings for forgiveness. Every time they launched their Bonn Sron Bourngsoung Bochea.. bla bla, they have never mentioned the named of the Kings who built Preah Vihear and Angkor Wat, but Jayvaraman 7 only.

Again I’m 6:09 AM – Totally agreed with your opinion here. Hinduism is the creation theory, not only metaphysic but also very scientism and it is not different from Christianism or Greco’s God Zeus and other common theory of creation. Buddhism look nice and seduced at form but in practice it let a lot of morbid perversion derives. Buddhism is a kind of communism to me, the religion of the oppressors against the oppressed, the poor and the weak. Buddha led class struggle, he was future emperor but denounced it, disposed all to live as the beggar, those are what most Cambodian Buddhist want to become that why they are careless of what going on in their country no matter how much crime they underwent or how much injustice they endured. They let the thieves, the murderers and the criminals free saying it is Kama or Kampear then they can go faster to heaven. Without the guarantee of the rules of laws and the respect of individual rights, this self suicidal ill attitude, culture and mentality give free hand for the criminals, the trick and the scams to grow and prosper that why Cambodia is that sinister and cursed country full of murderers and ruses and the victims of those scams and assassins. Those who live in Cambodia are cursed by our Great Hindus kings and ancestors, those who founded Cambodia and the Khmer civilization. They will not leave these disgraced people live in peace or put their soiled foot on their sacred ground and I can perfectly understand as I can understand their feeling. Yuons are not the rests. P/S - Folks, I don’t mind, I respect your religion and what you belief no matter as long as you don’t allow it to destroy mine and common/Khmer interest. If you are Buddhists, please don’t say you are part of Khmer or Angkor civilization, you are destroying it and you are the insults to Khmer and those founded Khmer Nation and Civilization. Even Jaya7 was also Indus king but he accepted Buddhism by his love for his wives (Jayadevi and Indradevi) and his Prah Krou. All his monuments still kept Hindus fundamental details. The real Buddhist kings don’t built Temples as at Angkor period but they build Vat as sihanouk, Hun kvan and co did.
