ពេលនោះ លោកយូដា
ពោលទៅកាន់ នាងតាម៉ារ ជាកូនប្រសា ថា៖ «ចូរ កូន នៅជាស្ត្រី មេម៉ាយ, ហើយ ទៅរស់នៅ ផ្ទះឪពុក របស់កូនសិនទៅ, ទម្រាំសេឡា
កូន របស់ពុក ធំពេញវ័យ។» គាត់ គិតថា «សូម កុំឲ្យកូន មួយនេះ ស្លាប់ដូច
បងៗ គេឡើយ។» នាងតាម៉ារ
ក៏ទៅរស់នៅ ផ្ទះឪពុកនាង។
យូរថ្ងៃ ក្រោយមក,
ភរិយា របស់លោកយូដា, គឺ កូនស្រី របស់លោកស៊ូអា បានទទួល
មរណភាព។ កាលលោកយូដា បានធូរស្បើយ ពីមរណទុក្ខ នេះហើយ, គាត់ ក៏ធ្វើដំណើរ ទៅភូមិ ធីមណា ជាមួយលោកហ៊ីរ៉ា ជាអ្នកស្រុក អាឌូឡាម
មិត្តរបស់គាត់ ដើម្បី ទៅមើល ពួកអ្នកកាត់ រោមចៀម របស់គាត់។
មានគេ មកប្រាប់
នាងតាម៉ារ ថា៖ «ឪពុកក្មេក របស់នាង ឡើងទៅ កាត់រោមចៀម នៅធីមណា។» ឮដូច្នេះ នាងតាម៉ារ យកសម្លៀកបំពាក់
ស្ត្រីមេម៉ាយចេញ, ហើយ យកស្បៃ មកពាក់បាំងមុខ មិនឲ្យ
នរណាស្គាល់, រួច ទៅអង្គុយនៅមាត់ផ្លូវ ចូលភូមិ អេណែម
ដែលស្ថិតនៅតាមផ្លូវ ទៅធីមណា។ នាង ធ្វើដូច្នេះ
មកពីនាង ឃើញថា, សេឡា ធំពេញវ័យហើយ, តែ លោកយូដា ពុំបានយកនាង ទៅឲ្យ ធ្វើជាភរិយាឡើយ។
កាលលោកយូដា ឃើញនាង,
គាត់ ស្មានថា ជាស្ត្រីពេស្យា, ដ្បិត នាង មានស្បៃបាំងមុខ។
គាត់ ចូលទៅជិតនាង, ពោលថា៖
«មក៍, រួមរ័ក ជាមួយខ្ញុំ។» គាត់ ពុំបានដឹង ថា ជាកូនប្រសា
របស់គាត់ទេ។
នាង តបថា៖ «បើ
ខ្ញុំ ទៅជាមួយលោក, តើ លោក ឲ្យអ្វីខ្ញុំ?»
គាត់ ឆ្លើយថា, «ខ្ញុំ នឹងផ្ញើ កូនពពែមួយ មកឲ្យនាង។»
នាង តបទៅវិញ ថា៖
«ចា៎ស,
ខ្ញុំ យល់ព្រម, តែ លោក ត្រូវបញ្ចាំអ្វីមួយ
ទុកឲ្យខ្ញុំ, ទម្រាំខ្ញុំ បានទទួល កូនពពែនោះ។»
គាត់ ពោលទៅវិញ
ថា៖ «តើ
ចង់ឲ្យខ្ញុំ បញ្ចាំអ្វីទុក?»
នាង ឆ្លើយថា៖ «សុំប្រគល់
ត្រា របស់លោក និងខ្សែវា, ព្រមទាំង ដំបង ដែលលោក កាន់នោះ
មកឲ្យខ្ញុំ។» លោកយូដា
ប្រគល់ របស់ទាំងនោះ ឲ្យនាង, រួច គាត់ ក៏រួមរ័ក ជាមួយនាង។
បន្ទាប់មក, នាង មានផ្ទៃពោះ
ជាមួយគាត់។ នាង ក្រោកឡើង, ចាកចេញពីទីនោះ។ នាង យកស្បៃចេញ, ហើយ យកសម្លៀកបំពាក់ ស្ត្រីមេម៉ាយ មកស្លៀកពាក់វិញ។
លោកយូដា បានផ្ញើកូនពពែ
ទៅឲ្យនាង តាមរយៈមិត្ត របស់គាត់ ជាអ្នកស្រុក អាឌូឡាំ ដើម្បី លោះយក របស់របរ
ដែលគាត់ បានបញ្ចាំទុក ជាមួយនាង មកវិញ។ តែ មិត្ត របស់ លោកយូដា រកនាងពុំឃើញសោះ។ គាត់ សួរអ្នកស្រុក នៅកន្លែងនោះ
ថា៖ «ស្ត្រីពេស្យា ដែលនៅមាត់ផ្លូវ ចូលភូមិអេណែមនោះ
នៅឯណា?»
គេ តបមកវិញ ថា៖
«នៅទីនេះ, មិនដែលមាន ស្ត្រីពេស្យាទេ។»
គាត់ ក៏វិលទៅរក
លោកយូដាវិញ, ប្រាប់ថា៖ «ខ្ញុំ រកស្រីនោះ
ពុំឃើញទេ, ហើយ អ្នកស្រុកនោះ បានប្រាប់ខ្ញុំ ថា,
“នៅទីនេះ មិនដែលមាន ស្ត្រីពេស្យាទេ។”»
លោកយូដា ពោលថា៖ «ឲ្យនាង
ទុករបស់ ទាំងនោះទៅ។ យើង មិនបាច់សួរដេញដោល នាំតែអ្នកស្រុក មើលងាយទេ។ ខ្ញុំ បានផ្ញើកូនពពែ ទៅឲ្យនាង តាមសន្យា,
តែ បើសម្លាញ់ឯង រកនាងមិនឃើញ ក៏ហីទៅចុះ។»
បីខែ កន្លងមកទៀត,
មានគេ នាំដំណឹង មកប្រាប់ លោកយូដា ថា៖ «នាងតាម៉ារ,
ជាកូនប្រសា របស់លោក, បានខូចខ្លួនហើយ; ឥឡូវនេះ ថែមទាំងមាន ផ្ទៃពោះទៀតផង។»
លោកយូដា ពោលថា៖
«អូសគេ
ចេញទៅក្រៅ, ដុតទាំងរស់ទៅ!»
ពេលគេ កំពុងតែនាំនាង
ចេញទៅក្រៅ, នាងតាម៉ារ ឲ្យគេ ទៅជំរាប លោកយូដា ថា៖
«ខ្ញុំ មានផ្ទៃពោះ ជាមួយម្ចាស់វត្ថុ ទាំងនេះ។ សូម ពុក មើលមើល៍; តើ ត្រានេះ
និងខ្សែវា, ព្រមទាំង ដំបងនេះ, ជារបស់
នរណា?»
លោកយូដា ស្គាល់វត្ថុទាំងនោះ
ក៏ពោល ថា៖ «នាង សុចរិត ជាងខ្ញុំ, ព្រោះ
ខ្ញុំ មិនបានយកនាង មកឲ្យ ធ្វើជាភរិយា របស់សេឡា ជាកូនខ្ញុំទេ។» តាំងពីពេលនោះមក,
លោកយូដា ពុំបានរួមរ័ក ជាមួយនាង ទៀតឡើយ។
លុះជិតដល់ ពេលសំរាលកូន,
គេ ដឹងថា នាង មានកូនភ្លោះ ក្នុងផ្ទៃនាង។ ពេលសំរាលកូន មានកូនមួយ ចេញដៃមកមុន; ឆ្មប ក៏យកអំបោះ ក្រហម ចងដៃទារកនោះ,
ទាំងពោល ថា៖ «កូនមួយនេះ កើតមុន។» ប៉ុន្តែ ទារកនោះ បានដកដៃ ចូលទៅវិញ, ហើយ បង របស់គេ ក៏កើតចេញមក។ ពេលនោះ ឆ្មបពោល ថា៖ «ឯង
បានបើកប្រឡោះ ដណ្ដើមចេញមុន!» គាត់ ដាក់ឈ្មោះកូននោះ ថា «ពេរេស»។ បន្ទាប់មកទៀត, កូនប្អូន កើតចេញមក ទាំងមាន អំបោះ ក្រហម នៅជាប់ នឹងដៃផង។ គេ ដាក់ឈ្មោះកូននោះ ថា «សេរ៉ាស»។
Judah and Tamar
38 At that time, Judah left his brothers and went down to stay with a man of Adullam named Hirah. 2 There Judah met the daughter of a Canaanite man named Shua. He married her and made love to her; 3 she became pregnant and gave birth to a son, who was named Er. 4 She conceived again and gave birth to a son and named him Onan. 5 She gave birth to still another son and named him Shelah. It was at Kezib that she gave birth to him.
6 Judah got a wife for Er, his firstborn, and her name was Tamar. 7 But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put him to death.
8 Then
Judah said to Onan, “Sleep with your brother’s wife and fulfill your
duty to her as a brother-in-law to raise up offspring for your brother.” 9 But
Onan knew that the child would not be his; so whenever he slept with
his brother’s wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from
providing offspring for his brother. 10 What he did was wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put him to death also.
11 Judah then said to his daughter-in-law Tamar, “Live as a widow in your father’s household until my son Shelah grows up.” For he thought, “He may die too, just like his brothers.” So Tamar went to live in her father’s household.
12 After a long time Judah’s wife, the daughter of Shua, died. When Judah had recovered from his grief, he went up to Timnah, to the men who were shearing his sheep, and his friend Hirah the Adullamite went with him.
13 When Tamar was told, “Your father-in-law is on his way to Timnah to shear his sheep,” 14 she took off her widow’s clothes, covered herself with a veil to disguise herself, and then sat down at the entrance to Enaim, which is on the road to Timnah. For she saw that, though Shelah had now grown up, she had not been given to him as his wife.
15 When Judah saw her, he thought she was a prostitute, for she had covered her face. 16 Not realizing that she was his daughter-in-law, he went over to her by the roadside and said, “Come now, let me sleep with you.”
“And what will you give me to sleep with you?” she asked.
17 “I’ll send you a young goat from my flock,” he said.
“Will you give me something as a pledge until you send it?” she asked.
18 He said, “What pledge should I give you?”
“Your seal and its cord, and the staff in your hand,” she answered. So he gave them to her and slept with her, and she became pregnant by him. 19 After she left, she took off her veil and put on her widow’s clothes again.
20 Meanwhile Judah sent the young goat by his friend the Adullamite in order to get his pledge back from the woman, but he did not find her. 21 He asked the men who lived there, “Where is the shrine prostitute who was beside the road at Enaim?”
“There hasn’t been any shrine prostitute here,” they said.
22 So
he went back to Judah and said, “I didn’t find her. Besides, the men
who lived there said, ‘There hasn’t been any shrine prostitute here.’”
23 Then Judah said, “Let her keep what she has, or we will become a laughingstock. After all, I did send her this young goat, but you didn’t find her.”
24 About
three months later Judah was told, “Your daughter-in-law Tamar is
guilty of prostitution, and as a result she is now pregnant.”
Judah said, “Bring her out and have her burned to death!”
25 As
she was being brought out, she sent a message to her father-in-law. “I
am pregnant by the man who owns these,” she said. And she added, “See if
you recognize whose seal and cord and staff these are.”
26 Judah recognized them and said, “She is more righteous than I, since I wouldn’t give her to my son Shelah.” And he did not sleep with her again.
27 When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. 28 As she was giving birth, one of them put out his hand; so the midwife took a scarlet thread and tied it on his wrist and said, “This one came out first.” 29 But when he drew back his hand, his brother came out, and she said, “So this is how you have broken out!” And he was named Perez.[a] 30 Then his brother, who had the scarlet thread on his wrist, came out. And he was named Zerah.[b]

If you believe that you're God's children then what are those Buddhists? Are they not God's creation as well?

No real Spiritual People Exist in Khmer community.
Khmers have been suffered for 800 years since they adopted the 2nd foreign religion "Buddhism".
The economy of the nation collapsed and so was the empire.
Khmers were not only just poor but a weakest nation. They lost everything including the morality once they possessed morality, dignity and nobility while in Khmer Empire.
They only were/are known to others as primitive or Barbaric people, they kill, curse and commit so much evil acts. Their hostilities/ruthless are far beyond anyone could comprehend.
They cannot easily reach a stage of being SPIRITUAL People. If exist, it may be, these few Khmers are among educated and civilized Khmers surrounded by American/British nobility people that is it.

Khmers did not have real religion until Indian royal prince conquered (in the history). The Empire was created by Hindu King named Jayavaraman 2 (in the history). The empire last about 600 years (in the history). While new comers Thais and Annamese moved closer and closer to the Empire, Jayavaraman 7 adopted Buddhism destroyed & replaced all what the Hindu Kings had built.
So many men and boys flocked to be monks, and left the economy in cold. After Jayavaraman died, the Empire declined while his son took over power (in the history).
Why all of the sudden from powerful to downfall? Why adopting a new foreign religion that weaken the empire when the two newcomers (Thai and Viets) are coming?
Was it act of treason or was a strategy of Thai or Viets by having Khmers becoming Buddhists so they will becoming poor and weak?
How could a nation survive when million men/boys flocked to becoming monks and left the economy dying?
