The harsh reality in Cambodia is making the people suffer more and more. Yet, not many people realized they are the disadvantaged ones. Win-Win policy, one said and other cheered, but is it really? what is so fair about the politician and businessmen getting hundreds of thousands of dollars and the common people got nothing more than some land, a small house, and some donations to rely on for the rest of their lives.
One mandate after another, Cambodia is still ruled by the same political party, the same leader, the same system. The question is does it really reflect the wish of people? or is it what is decided as the wish of the people?
Do the people of Cambodia truly believe in the ability and conscience of the current party?
Each time, CPP representatives went on political campaign to their assigned provinces, how many Land Cruisers and Lexus you can and cannot count?
As the common people, we see almost every CPP politicians live a wealthy life.
Even worse these days, there is a wave of young generation rising from the CPP party. This wave is full of children of top government officials from all ranks and all sectors. They continued to play more political roles than ever. Using coercion and power to gain popularity and support, many had to follow and sadly accepted the harsh reality. From Ministry to the Military to the Police, there are sons and daughters of top officials who have campaigned for their party and in return, they will gain fame, honor, ranks, and lucrative positions.
Is this the reality that the Cambodian people want to make?
I'd say it's enough. but does it take just a new party to change how Cambodia is? There are way too many enemies that will never be willing to work with any other political party. So, the question is how can you change your country? so that we and our young children and the future generation can receive better treatment and get what we deserve.
There's no Win-Win if there's no fairness involved.
When the CNRP wins this upcoming election, Khmer people will be proud to be Khmer because we get a well educated, competent, honest, and patriotic leader - Sam Rainsy.

The new title Samdech granted to Jomteav Bun Rany is definitely a big hit. I'm strongly against it too but you know even the King in Cambodia has no power, no choice, and not enough people to back him up. What can he do? The government is all ganged up. No one can do harm to them, unless the internal ties between those corrupted, ambitious leaders and officials fight each other. Don't you agree?? The fact that those people including Jomteav Bun Rany has been in their top positions for so so so long, it's just sooner or later that they will get all the honor there are. In other countries, no one can stay that long in one position because people select new leaders. In Khmer, the top leader is always right and no one dares to select new leaders. Because it will affect them and their family. It's a very systematic issue in Khmer. It takes more than political power to save our country. No one wants to see the same people getting promoted, getting all the benefits, while many others officials who are working so hard day in and day out to contribute to the nation but in return, they only earn just enough for their family. It's the reality of Cambodian society these days. So many rich Oknha never care to educate their children and let them make chaos all over the places, threatened smaller and inferior people...etc...I call for all to voice their concerns and think of a strategic way to combat this trend of anarchy and nepotism in Cambodia. I agree with you mostly. But the king should have the courage to do something that is beneficial for the country.
For example, in 2005, he ratified and promulgated the supplemental treaties with Vietnam. That was a GIANT mistake. And to promote Bun Rany to Samdach is simply stupid.
He should look at the Vietnamese who control all Khmer administrative levels and try to find ways to save Cambodia from Vietnam's grip..
