Villagers camp out to protest ‘land grab’

More than 100 people from two communes in Kratie province’s Sambor
district gathered yesterday for a three-day protest in front of the
provincial office of Think Biotech, a Korean-owned timber company
villagers say is encroaching on their land.
Company officials have told residents of Sambor district’s Kampong Cham and Boeung Char communes that they cannot farm the disputed land after May, community representative Sam No, 54, said yesterday.
“We are planning to protest with a total of more than 1,000 people,” he said. “Now we have just gathered 100 people, but more and more are coming.”
As of yesterday evening, 10 armed policemen and six soldiers had taken guard at the office’s entrance, said Nam Nak, 33, one of the protesters setting up tents out front.

“For the accusation that I pressured them to vote for the CPP, I think they misunderstood,” he said. “I said we cannot issue titles because it is near the election. When it is finished, we will . . . give them titles.”

These CPP "youth volunteers" let me tell you that they are the children of the CPP officials. They are NOT from all walk of life, to be part of this you have to be preveledged.
So their goal is to perform something that Hun Manet under his Father Sen's approach is to legitimate the force eviction.
Just not if the Cambodian citizen in this coming election voted for the CNRP, they WOULD NOT FACE THESE ISSUE NOW UNDER CPP AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE DISADAVNTAGE UNDER THE CPP IF THEY GET RE-ELECTED whether via NEC helps or in this case clear BLACK MAIL TO the electorate/Khmer people who have to justify to the CPP government that the land they currently lived in belong to them NOT TO THE CPP'S OFFICIAlL and lining up for the CPP children or as they call it the "CPP youth volunteer group". I think you can drill in to the name of the volunteers and find out their associattion to the CPP. It purely personal interests not national interests or the interests of Cambodian.
