AUSTRALIA will donate an extra $3.25 million to fund Cambodia's UN-backed Khmer Rouge trials.
Foreign Minister Bob Carr says this brings Australia's total contribution to the Extraordinary Chambers of the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) to $23 million.
"I look forward to the ECCC continuing its efforts to hold Khmer Rouge leaders to account for the atrocities committed in their names," Senator Carr said in a statement on Monday.
An estimated 1.6 million people, or one-fifth of Cambodia's population, died under the brutal Khmer Rouge regime.

Historically, Vietnam has been successfully expanding its territory at the expense of Cambodia because some Khmer people such as Hun Sen, Var Kim Hong, Cheam Yap, etc...have sold their souls to Vietnam and transformed themselves to be just a tool for Vietnam to execute its plan.
To resolve Cambodia's sovereignty issues such as Koh Tral, Khmer people must help themselves first by voting for the CNRP so that the new CNRP's government has the right to call for the signatory countries of the 1991 Paris peace accord to reconvene and enforce such agreement.
Notice that the International Criminal Court (ICC), which formally commence its function in 2003, is awaiting to trial the person and his master Vietnam who angrily declared that "there will be war in Cambodia if his party lost this upcoming election".

But the International Criminal Court (ICC) has given Khmer people hope that if the loser of this July election and his master Vietnam start the fake civil war, they will be punished and the ICC might possibly also find out who stayed behind the mass killings during the Pol Pot's era.

Aust needs to be more careful about their donation. History has shown that, this ECCC is illigitimate, it is being controlled by the VC, Chinese and the CPP traitor crooks. Where criminals go free and innocents being punished (journalists and activists like Chea Vichea, Chut Vuthy, Pisit pilica and so on). Now, if Australia wants to help in a good way, it should be in a form community development
like e.g provide public housings, marketing, public toilets, parks, schools, or university linking with Australian standards like, 'Griffith University, Monash University, University of Southern Cross' etc. In this sense, you are helping them to grow, by allowing them to have skills in order for them to move forward. Otherwise, it is like helping to kill instead of helping to develop.
Futhermore, in the past, all donated goods or fundings went into the hands of the VC and Chinese's crooks, as we are under their controlled, and so, thats how it works.
