Hoeurn Samnieng, a Cambodian monk and recent Harvard graduate, says his experience at the university helped him broaden his mind and expand a professional network. He sat down with VOA Khmer's Im Sothearith to discuss his next steps, as he seeks to help disadvantaged children with food and education.

That is what monks should do. Get education and get paid so they can help the community instead of sucking from the poor Khmers to feed them.
Why the Christians are so rich and be able to feed the world, because they must have at least Bachelor degree to become Pastor/Priest. They work for the community even with small salary they can help others.

First I'd like to congratulate to the monk Heoun Samnieng for his educational achievement.
I agree with 12:35 PM.
We should "amend" to what we have done to make Buddhism more practical and beneficial to the society and country.
To 12:35 PM
Since when the requirement to be a priest or pastor is at
least a Bachelor's degree ?
No bull, please
Make them working like everyone else.
MR:12.35 OR ????
