Around 20,000 people will participate in the protest demonstrations intiated by Chum Mey, a survivor of Tuol Sleng prison, a Khmer Rouge facility where at least 13,000 Cambodians were tortured before being executed during the Khmer Rouge rule to demand Kem Sokha publicly apologize to the spirits of the dead, murdered by the Khmer Rouge
"As I'm a Cambodian and a lawmaker, I will join the non-violent protest with other Cambodians and Tuol Sleng’s survivors on Sunday", said Chheang Vun, a CPP's lawmaker,
The protest was planned against Kem Sokha over his comments last month at a forum in Pailin [Note: CPP is trying to flip flop from Prey Veng's forum to Pailin's one?] stating that Tuol Sleng prison was an artificial place prepared by Vietnam.
Sokha’s comment had provoked outrage among the victims of the Khmer Rouge regime which caused the death of around two million people from starvation, overwork and execution during 1975-79.
"Kem Sokha’s speeches really affected all Cambodian citizens especially the former prisoners of Tuol Sleng prison," Vun said.
"I support the protest demonstration held by the Cambodian people against Kem Sokha, demanding he apologize to souls of the dead at Tuol Sleng prison."
Late last month, Prime Minister Hun Sen attacked Kem Sokha over his comments regarding Tuol Sleng and the Khmer Rouge, and called upon lawmakers of the CPP and Funcinpec Party to create a denial law to punish those who say the Khmer Rouge did not commit genocidal atrocities against the people of Cambodia.
The law consists of five articles and will be discussed in a National Assembly session on Friday. Those who break the law will face from six months up to two years imprisonment, and fined from one to four million riels.

It sounds like Hun Sen and his master Vietnam knew the strength of the CNRP, so they must do something to weaken the CNRP.
Here are the recent tricks:
1- Hun Sen warned the people that he will withdraw all of his help or support if he loses.
2- Hun Sen threatened that if the CPP lost, there will be war.
3- The CPP brought back the old tape when the Sam Rainsy party and the Human Right Party fought each other.
4- Hun Sen accused the CNRP party of having the link or connection with some groups which wanted to overthrow his government.
These above 4 tricks people did not buy it and ridiculed them as stupid and funny.
Now, Hun Sen and Vietnam deploy another trick by convincing their "men" to make a demonstration against Kem Sokha.
Their (Hun Sen and Vietnam) ulterior motive may be to create social unrest and create fear amongst people so that they don't want to make any change and vote for the CPP.
However, presently Khmer people understand clearly about the danger that Cambodia is facing and they will fiercely fight for Cambodia's survival and vote for the CNRP.
Only time will tell how low the CPP and Vietnam can go. How many more cheap tricks they will produce.
But if Hun Sen is a human and a Khmer, he should put Cambodia's interest above his personal interest and stop following Vietnam's orders.

I am very disappointed with the CPP and it's clowns. I am a big time supporter of the CPP for so long and now I am so sick and tired of their stupid politics that they are playing. This mafia leader group are trying to break khmers' spirit again and again. What Kem Sokha said, are correct, they all are based on true facts, everyone in this world knows this. Just go to Youtube under ;Pol Pot, (interviewed by Nat Taylor), 'Lon Nol' and 'CIA in Cambodia' and 'Norodom Shanouk' etc. They all are facts and therefore, why demonstrate to fight against from speaking truth, as it is based on world history and is being documented like so?
This is clearly shown that, evil outsiders are still trying to continue to annex khmers from their existence, ie to get them off from their own homeland according to their planned (Ho Chi Minh). Now, they are doing it again, trying to cover up their crimes like always, that is one of the reasons why they continue to create one problem after another. These crooks knew that, if Hun Sen loses the election, they can't rob, steal, kill and be their boss no more. It is time for all khmers to wake up including Hun Sen. Rght now, they are using you to kill your own people and soon, they will betray you and your clan, just like they did before to all of our ancestors. Their evil tactics are plentiful and they have used for thousand of years, ie based on lying, deceiving and manipulation and of course, they did it well like always. They took Laos, Champa, Prey Nokhor, Khmer Krom and now, the whole srok khmer.
Soon, all of your future generations will be under their feet, where they (outsiders) can print more money to buy all of your children's hard earned crops. So, please, just give up, don't fight with your own brothers and sisters no more because that is what they (outsiders) always wanted us to do. They rather see us khmers fall apart than to grow stronger and better. So, change is needed and it has to be now or never. Please try to learn from Abisit and Yingluck, because, we khmers feel so ashame of having our leader being controlled by outsiders. We need to be independent, to have our own state sovereignty and to have our own right, dignity and pride, just like every other nation does. e.g. "god created all of us to of equal value, whether they are jews or gentile' and so, why do they interfere and tried to eliminate us from our existence? Ah Hun Sen is a Vietnamese animal born in the Vietnamese jungle.
This animal cannot tell what is right or wrong. His action of killing 2 million Khmer as the Vietnamese spy is now justifyable if the drafting of the law goes ahead.
This will only back fire, because when Hun Sen looses power. The Vietnamese will make sure that they stay away from the Cambodia affair as they watch Hun Sen prosecutued by UN. Everyone is awaiting to see Hun Sen hung from his crimes.
