Happy Father's day, Priminister Hun Sen! Hope you will retire soon from your position.
I wish I have something nice to say on Father's Day, but disappointedly, I don't have any messages at all. Yes, my father is still alive, but his betrayal of the children cuts so deep that the wound never heal at all. When a father turns out to be just a hypocrite and behind the children's back he sucks up and demand the children to support him financially while he lives his life to the fullest with some underage girl way deep inside Cambodia. It is immoral and beyond belief to have any bloodline connected with this kind of man whom the society labels as "father" because he helped procreated you in the first place. I don't care what you think, but I do believe in the Khmer saying that goes: "It is best to have the Mother alive than having a father at all." I know there are lots of good wonderful fathers out there, but for my case, it is only a huge disappointment and I am a guy as well. This comment is only limited to my case only. If I offend anyone, well it is your problem.

My father is a dickhead too. I guess, most Khmer parents who once lived under the KR regime are mentally retarded. He made my mother serve him like a King and abused her with all sort of words as well as making her turns against their own children.
Words come out of their mouths have never been so good. Everything,we children did were always wrong, wrong and wrong. Right now, we don't know what to do or say about them really, when it comes to father day or mother day, well one should adore their parents and wanting to say nice things but it is almost impossible to do so, when having such a parent like mind.
First all, they did not support us (children), when we were at a younger ages and then,they we went to say we are bad kids, even after we tried so hard to get to the top ourselves, there would still be no nice words out of their mouths. It feels more painful than anyone can imagine, we have to face with a double trouble in our society
e.g. 1) through parent negligent and 2) society pressure of who we should be plus, to be in a form of bulling is tough alright. That is why, I make sure, I will support my kids to reach their full potential at all costs, unlike them, well, I think they missed it all. But, I am sure, they will be sorry, in the end but by then it will be too late. Because nothing worth more than love really, because when you don't have love, you have nothing.
So what a shame! but I am sure, god is with us no matter what, I know he loves us unconditionally regardless because he knows who we are and what we are really, he said ' for those who love me, I will give you more than your earthly father could'. So, this says a lot!
So, I am very happy without having them in my life, but I am also kind of sad sometimes too because it could have been perfect. But I think maybe because of greed or maybe they are a damaged good, really.
