Thailand refuses entry to Cambodian opposition leader

Thailand
said Wednesday that it had refused entry to Cambodia's opposition
leader-in-exile because of concerns he would criticise Prime Minister
Hun Sen's government ahead of national elections.
Sam
Rainsy, who lives in France to avoid an 11-year prison sentence which
he contends is politically motivated, was turned away on Tuesday when
trying to visit Thailand to launch his new autobiography "We Didn't
Start the Fire: My Struggle for Democracy in Cambodia".
"We
have banned Sam Rainsy for using Thailand to launch his book and to
attack a friendly country," foreign ministry spokesman Manasvi
Srisodapol told AFP.
"We
do support democratic rule but on the other hand we do not support
other people using our country to attack others for political gain," he
added.
Prime
Minister Hun Sen has led the country since 1985 and Rainsy, his main
challenger, is barred from running in the polls due to convictions
including for publishing a "false map" that showed Vietnam controlling
Cambodian territory.
Cambodian
opposition members last month appealed for the help of the United
Nations and the European Union to ensure free and fair elections.
Hun
Sen, who has friendly relations with the government of Thai Prime
Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, recently said he would step down when he
turns 74 -- having previously said he would serve until 90.
Hun Sen is now 60 but officially lists his age as 62 which he said was the result of a typing error.
Thai immigration officials said they had been instructed not to allow entry to Rainsy until after the election.
"Sam
Rainsy can enter Thailand normally after that. We explained to him and
he seemed to understand and he's now in Singapore," said Lieutenant
General Panu Kerdlaprphol, commander of Thai immigration police.
Rainsy was not immediately available to comment.

VC, Chinese and CPP traitor crooks are very good at their new tactics, they killed million of our educated ones and now they joined hands with Thai making sure, khmers will continue to go down, then, they will have it all, in the end. They wanted Hun Sen to continue to be a khmer leader, so that, they can eaasily take advantage of us and our downfall e,g making us khmers be their slave e,g where they could print more and more money to buy from our hard earned produces e.g rice and fish (thieves).
Again, no outsiders would want us to grow but to see us falling appart, really. They done this to us for the last four hundred years and VC are now aware, that everyone in this world already knows about their wicked action. So of course, they will find other ways to continue to destroy us khmers by forming a new partnership with Thailand to destroy those who oppose them e.g for not allowing them to continue to rob, steal and kill us khmers.
This is clearly shown that VC, Chinese and the CPP traitor crooks are trying their best to make sure Hun Sen win. But Hun Sen is too dumb to know this because he is too addicted to his power, just like kingta did and in the end, they betrayed kingta and so it will be the same to Hun Sen. Those crooks will stop at anything because that is who they are 'thieves' and they don't want us to be part of the US or the Western way of life, while they themselves do and it looks like they don't want us to be existed for some reasons, as they can see, that we are weak, of course they want to help to kill instead of helping to live.
In this case, the big nations are trying to swallow the smaller nation by using wicked tactics. e,g VC and Chinese promised kingta that, they would give khmer krom back once the war is over, but never did, and now they are trying to take the whole srok khmers by forming a group of mafia to run and our and control our khmer nation.
We really need good moral people around the world to help us khmers to get out of this mess really, before it is too late. They done it before and they will do it again and again. They create KR and now they create Red and Yellow shirt in Thailand to fight against each other. It is time for Thai to wake up as well before it is too late. VC and those crooks will not stop. Finally, if the good do nothing the evil will win, simple as that.

That is expected since Yingluck Brother Thaksin shared a business interested in Cambodia and recently they have an extended family marriage to one another.
Sam Rainsy can be seen and have been seen as a thread to Hun Sen and the current Thai Red shirt goverment.
And Sam Rainsy position over the current poor management of the CPP government on Preah Vihear temple issues. As CPP under Hun Sen is known to sell away border to the neighbouring country for personal & families gains.
