លោក George Mcleod សមាជិកក្រុមប្រឹក្សាអភិបាលនៃក្លិប បានថ្លែងពីម្សិលមិញថា៖ «ក្លិបយល់ថា ការបដិសេធនេះគឺស្របនឹងគោលនយោបាយរបស់ថៃមិនអនុញ្ញាតនូវសកម្មភាពនយោបាយបរទេសលើទឹកដីថៃឡើយ»។

Rainsy had been set to launch his new book We Didn’t Start the Fire: My Struggle for Democracy in Cambodia at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand tonight but said from Singapore yesterday that he had been turned away by immigration.
“They told me that I would be welcome back after the election,” he said, before declining to comment further, saying he was busy.
The FCCT stressed on its website that it was merely hosting, not sponsoring, Rainsy’s event.
“The club was given to understand that the refusal was in line with the Thai government’s policy of not allowing foreign political activity on Thai soil,” FCCT board member George McLeod said yesterday.
When asked if the Cambodian embassy had pushed Thai immigration authorities to deny Rainsy entry, Cambodian ambassador You Ay [Is she Vietnamese?] laughed and hung up on a reporter.
Thai ambassador to Cambodia Touchayoot Pakdi said he knew nothing about the incident, while officials at the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs declined to comment.
Despite the apparent slap in the face, Rainsy’s Cambodia National Rescue Party remained quiet about the incident yesterday, with spokesman Yim Sovann saying he had no information.
Rainsy, who lives in self-imposed exile to avoid charges some argue are politically motivated, is not the first foreign visitor to be barred entry into Thailand under politically sensitive circumstances, though he has also previously travelled to the country without incident.
In September 2010, another event at the FCCT by the NGOs International Federation for Human Rights and Vietnam Committee on Human Rights was cancelled after the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs revoked the visas of attendees.
Political analyst Kem Ley said factors that could have influenced Thailand’s decision included the close relationship between Prime Minister Hun Sen and former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, border tensions and recent attempts by the government to link Rainsy’s party to “terrorist” movements.
“Maybe Thais are also afraid of that particular issue. Thais, they don’t want to be the [location] for political movements,” he said.

VC, Chinese and CPP traitor crooks are very good at tactics, they killed million of our educated khmers and now they joined hands with Thai making sure, khmers will go down, then, they both will have it all, in the end. They wanted Hun Sen to continue to be the khmer leaded, so that, it is easier for them to continue to take advantage of us and our downfall and making to continue to be their slave e,g where they could print more and more money to buy from our hard earned produces e.g rice and fish (thieves).
Again, no outsiders want us to grow but to see us falling appart, really. They'd done it before, for four hundreds years and they will continue to do it again and again. Look, they killed almost all of our educated ones, in order for them to have it all and now, VC are aware that, everyone in this world already knows about their wicked tricks. So, they will find other ways to destroy us khmers by forming a new partnership with Thailand to destroy those who oppose them.
This is clearly show that VC, Chinese and the CPP traitor crooks are trying their best to make sure Hun Sen win. But Hun Sen is too dumb to know this because his is so addicted power, just like kingta did and in the end, they betrayed kingta and for sure, they will do it again and again. Those crooks will stop at nothing because they are so afraid that we make a come back and we will be part of the West way of life, while they are doing the same thing like us, but they don't want us to be existed for some reasons because they can see that we are weak.
In this case, a bigger nation is trying to swallow the smaller nation by using wicked tictics. VC and Chinese promised kingta that, they would give khmer krom back once the war was over, but never did and now they are trying to take the whole srok khmers by forming a group of mafia to run and control srok khmer.
We really need good moral people around the world to help us khmers to get out of such mafia group of leader before it is too late. They done it before and they will do it again and again. They create KR and now they create Red and Yellow shirt in Thailand to fight against each other. It is time of Thai to wake up as well before it is too late. VC and those crooks will not stop. Finally, if the good do nothing the evil will win, simple as that.

It is not difficult to understand as to why Sam Rainsy has turned away from Thailand’s immigration office. All you have to do is observing the current situations in Thailand and who is in power. Yingluck Shinawatra is a former Thai’s Prime Minister Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra’s sister. It is very hard to say what the reasons may have been, but one thing for sure, it is easier for Thailand to turn away Mr. Sam Rainsy to avoid problems in Thailand while Thailand and Cambodia, both are trying to work out their long and tough relationship. This would place Thailand in a much better position than bringing more problems to Thailand instead. Mr. Sam Rainsy is in a tough position where he has no ground to move since the July 2013 election is getting nearer. If the US is involved in asking Thailand to allow Mr. Rainsy into Thailand, this could also place the United States in a rather awkward position between the United States and Cambodia and not to mention Thailand. Mr. Rainsy does not have enough ground to move when places in this predicament situation. What is left for Mr. Rainsy is either to work out a deal with the government of Cambodia or faces isolation, unless there are great powers who will intervene in this affair. I doubt that would be the case. But I have hope for Mr. Rainsy’s future. If the current government wishes to receive aid from foreign nations, this government must allow Mr. Rainsy to come back into the country for the upcoming election or else, I strongly believe that aids will be much lesser or perhaps, the only trading partner in Cambodia would be China and the Communist Bloc.
