It is really beautiful funeral services. Khmer monks gave Dhamma to those Buddhists for not only Nibbana but our poor Khmer. People who participate there with high Buddhist dignity. They practice Khmer Buddhism with their hearts through their every day lives. I think this is what Oknha Son Kuy died for. I truely see that Kampucheakrom will be took over back by Khmer in the future because of Buddhist high dignity.

Happy to see our Khmer fellows enjoying freedom of expression. Cambodia has old generations to whom the Cambodia holocaust is still fresh in memory, and new generations who are looking for new change/prosperity. The people thus does need a leader who went thru the holocaust, knew what it was really like, and who is the been-there-and-done-it kind of leader, and who can relate well with both new and old generations. To some's dismay, there seems to be no one who can relate/qualify better than PM Hun Sen and many(esp. the generals who were fighting to liberate Khmer in 1979)in the party. Will Excellency Sam Rainsy or/and Kem Sokha, or anyone else new, be able to entrust these generals so that they will follow faithfully, leave alone respect, orders as they have done toward PM Hun Sen? We put our lives in front line, fighting to liberate the people and country, and therefore we deserve what we get now. That is their reason. And it seems to be justifiable. However, when the balance tips heavily in favor of the new generations, perhaps two or more generations from now, then the country will be ready for the new leader. Hanging on to power after that will not be a good idea for PM Hun Sen or perhaps anyone else from the CPP party. The new generations will be easily mobilized against the PM who will highy likely risk what leaders of other nations like Egypt and Libia went through. For now, CPP is still the best choice for the people of whom, according to recent IRS's servey among ordinary Khmers, 76% or so are satisfied with the CPP, recognizing the CPP's efforts on development and prosperity of the country. Not perfect, but who else could have done better ?
