To break off the curse, we have to inter-married and then, be blessed, why? it proves that we are not racists and that, we accept god's creation. e,g the story of Ruth is one example etc. Ruth then, became the root of King David. I cry with joy when watching the video of the ceremony and admire this humble family especially the bride and groom who are willing to follow our Khmer tradition and honoring their parents on both side to celebrate their special day together.
This is the very modest wedding that I really support with the whole idea with tradition and family value.

In 1980 my friend, who survived Mt. Dangrak, arrived in Australia and started year 5 with no English. There were 2 youn kids that kept bullying my friend so one day she had enough, she punched one of them in the nose and it bled -the other youn kid ran away.
The teacher punished both of them (a smack each) the nose bleed youn kid was crying like crazy but my friend had a grin on her face from ear to ear. She told me 'I had already known pain much greater then that teacher's smack'.

The wedding was well chosen(sic). Knowing that Sam Rinasy was going to Cambodia(Royal pardon or not), they leave their daugther alone to organise the biggest event of her life. Usually, weeks before the wedding, the parents give support and help to organise the wedding. The bride parents were in Cambodia and only came 1 day before the wedding. Even though, Sam Rainsy made a forum and rally in France and Lowell before the wedding instead of supporting her daughter. Are they good parents?
