The strategy now is to get the below items first:
- the Presidency of the Parliament, - some key posts to reform NEC, police, and army, and
- the secret voting system in the Parliament
before accepting to go to the palace. HS is in need badly of CNRP to regain his emperor status of the Kingdom.
We need to think out of the box what would be the Golden Bridge for HS for his exit strategy so that he accepts to offer this Speaker-ship to the opposition. We may tell him that CNRP need to contribute to speeding the reforms towards democracy and the fight against the poverty line in Cambodia.
The good thing is that no party can play on the lifting of parliamentary immunity anymore unless there is internal breakup of adversary party. The secret voting will benefit CNRP right now because of the one-man system.

the way i see it, you people want change in cambodia, i mean real, concrete change that make life, politics, standard of living and on, you should participate in government. when you are active in government, it is better because you learn to deal with each other and you can call for reforms more effective then if you boycott and chose not to attend in government. think about it. you either smart, wise or you're not. show your constituents that you promise to change by represent them in government. in cambodia, you will encounter many many more people whether you like them or not should not matter because the nation is first, not your personal feeling. plus, it is good to learn to work or deal with other in government anyway. if you keep running away or quit every time something is different or not the way you want it, then maybe you're not right for that job. so, why even bother to represent the people if you cannot handle the pressure in government. let those your work better under pressure do it, and you stay out. that is fair to your constituents.
for the international audience out there if you happened to read on this ki blog, what you see going on is khmer politics, khmer way, yes, khmer way, so you can understand, do this to each other all along, nothing new. it's called the khmer way of politics. labeling each other with colorful names is part of khmer politics since ancient time, nothing is new here. sometimes, i wonder how in the past did khmer politicians solve their differences? i think some even resort to the jungle law and always use the extreme way of dealing with each other. should the new generation of khmer politician deviate from that style or should they vote to follow in the footstep of tradition of khmer politics. let democracy work, why not vote which politics style they prefer when dealing with each other in politics.

As I listen to Mr. Hun Sen’s explanation, the word “integrity” keeps popping up in my head. The video provides a sharp contrast from what I have heard from Mr. Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha. Both have claimed that CRNP did not attend the first session of parliament because they do not want to betray the will of the people or in Khmer ‘prachang ning chhantak robos projeajon.’
After hearing the video, Mr. Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha have a lot to explain. Integrity means you walk the talk. I have listened RFA interview after their second meeting trying to find the results of the negotiation; they did not come out clean. Both repeated the standard line about trying to get CPP to form an independent committee to review electoral irregularities.
Folks don’t trust any politicians. From this instance alone, we know that our politicians took us for granted. They think that we are just stupid followers. This is why we need to verify information as our politicians are imparting it onto us. Analyze what they say to make sure the information makes sense.
If it smells fishy and it feels fishy, chances are it is a fish. Hold all our politicians accountable otherwise they continue to use us as a pawn to achieve their political goals. Always verify information before you trust them. Trust your instinct.

CNRP has made a serious mistake in its strategy by negotiating in a closed-door meeting with Hun Sen. Now it is Hun Sen's words against CNRP when he said that CNRP had not negotiated primarily for the creation of an independent committee. The time is now ripe for Hun Sen to start his division game of which he is the master!
CNRP needs to be reminded that they represent the people and their (people's) interests and not the party or any individual in the party so from now on stop having any closed-door meeting! Let us hear what the negotiation is all about! At least allow the presence of independent NGOs in the meeting so they can independently report to the public who are politically well oriented and informed.
What is the main issue here? Well, it is an election fraud that needs independent investigation! So stick with the demand. Don't beat about the bush; ask the voters what they want to do and just do it! Paralyze the whole country if you need to, there is no other way to deal with Hun Sen, but stand firm with your demand of investigating election fraud and not the position of the president of the NA.
Stop calling on the King to do anything. It is a waste of time! His Majesty has not what it takes to be a King, neither education, experiences, nor courage, wisdom and instinct.
So far the CNRP has made it possible, because of its vague objective and strategy, for a lot of people, including those in the security forces who want to help change the country wonder if they should put their lives and jobs at stake by sticking with it!
Sam Rainsy's answer to Mr. Chun Chan Bot, the moderator of RFA with respect to the negotiations to share power with the government is quite evasive and not making much sense to me!
Stick with the original demand, CNRP! I am watching you for every move you are making. For God's sake don't disappoint your supporters or you will die with no hope of being resurrected.
