Do not proclaim Sam Rainsy " a big obstacle "
for change. It's a wrong assessment.
Let's say, the mass protests become violent, then Dictator & Traitor Hun Sen crushes and kills the protesters by the thousands. Then what ?
You expect the international community to come to your rescue ? Not so Commerade !
Just look at Syria for example.
There are better means to unseat Hun.
yes, it is wrong to assume the international community come to the protesters' rescue. i thought people ae complaining that cambodia are always depending on foreign aid of some sort, and now some people are trying to continue that perception by assuming the international community will come to their rescue if they become unruly. some politician still did not learn from history. for example, during the lon nol civil war, politician gave all their trust and rely totally on america to come to their rescue. back then, america was exhausted and tired of the vietnam war, so when the khmer rouge forced entered phnom penh, guess what? america abandoned cambodia or their plan and support for cambodia altogether and left its people in choas with the khmer rouge targeting former government workers and their supporters. remember, the late siri matak realized his administration had been trick and wrote a letter to the US government blaming them for abandonment of cambodia to the end and refused to air evacuate phnom penh and face immediate execution by the khmer rouge forces. well, i hope cambodia learns from that history and not put all your eggs in one basket again. don't assume or have high hope that the international community come to your rescue with your election protest if you become violent and not respect the rule of law. it's not a warning, it's just being wise and smart, learning from history to be cautious, that's all. every era in cambodia history is different, it is wrong to assume every event follows the same way, it's not and shouldn't be.
i don't believe in using violence to solve problem. what cambodia needs is the rule of law. some people may not like this, but the rule of law is very necessary in cambodia for peace and orderly and grow both physical and mentality. i watched the video on the victims of the hiroshima bomb, they all say the hiroshima event shows that all conflict, all war, there is peace following it. think about it, which way do you choose?
