1. Cambodians have voted for changes!
2. Hun Sen and the CPP stole people's votes as indicated by their refusal to allow an independent investigation committee to be formed to investigate alleged election fraud.
3. Collecting thumbprints in a nation-wide petition will allow the CNRP leadership to gauge people's preparedness and willingness to fight for justice with the party - CNRP's strategists get full mark for this brilliant idea.
4. Nation-wide protest by ordinary Cambodians in the form of not working and closing the business or office for one day is also one of the best ways to gauge support for the CNRP and a message to the dictator that people mean business and are ready to show defiance- Again CNRP's strategists get full mark for this brilliant idea.
5. Creating obstacles and discouraging people from selling flowers openly and freely show that Hun Sen is much more nervous than usual, begins to doubt his ability to contain rebellions and realizes that Cambodians are serious about changes and are prepared to fight for them.
6. It will not be possible for the west and democracy advocating countries to give support to a constitutionally illegal government formed recently by Hun Sen even with the endorsement of the Cambodian King. They will act as deterrent against brutality unleashed by Hun Sen’s supporters and will hold Hun Sen responsible internationally for the crimes when he decides to use his forces out of desperation to crush opposition supporters.
7. There are always security forces that have sold their bodies and souls to the dictator. This is simply part of human nature and is something we have no control over; however, not all security forces personnel in Cambodia are with Hun Sen and their number may be enormous and strong. Some or a lot of them have voted for the CNRP for their betterment and, more likely than not, will switch side when the tide of public protest turns in favour of the CNRP. Continue to give them flowers to remind them that the battle is between the people and the dictator and not his shields.
8. Collateral damage in the form of destruction including the loss of innocent lives is unavoidable in any struggle for freedom and liberty; dictators know that and will use it to intimidate and discourage those who challenge their grip on power. The bottom line is CNRP needs a good and proper assessment of the willingness of the majority of Cambodians to see if they are ready for changes at cost acceptable to them or at any cost at all. If they are ready, then CNRP has the obligation to help them achieve the goal. It is their goal and interests that are of utmost importance; CNRP’s leadership needs to be sternly reminded that CNRP’s goal and interests including theirs (the leaders’) are always secondary to those of the people.
9. Same old faces are in Hun Sen’s currently and illegally established government so status-quo will remain in Cambodia. These are people without scruples and shames who have the intention of staying in their offices till their death and then pass on their positions to their children. They think they own Cambodia and her people so it is high time for us, the people to show that we own them instead.

My reflections on the current political climate:
If people are not yet ready to fight a full war through demonstration and demand for an independent investigation of election fraud based on consensus expressed by the majority of the CRNP members and supporters, then CNRP can only negotiate for positions that they know for sure they can control the government and effect necessary changes for the betterment of the lives of ordinary Cambodians; otherwise, stay outside the government for the rest of the term, if necessary and that will paralyze Hun Sen’s government eventually. Patience is a virtue. If the western world decides to work with the Hun Sen government, then it will be the first time they openly demonstrate to the world that they themselves do not believe in democracy, which is a very unlikely scenario with the possibility running near zero. Joining Hun Sen’s government in a manner dictated by him and his party is first betraying the will of the people and second preparing for CNRP funeral.
CNRP, if you have the support of the people, you have the obligation to fight, period!

Hun Sen is a master of manipulation.
Anyone who decides to negotiate with him as far as the 2013 election is concerned needs to be careful with the choices of words used. The majority of Cambodian people in the rural areas may not be politically mature enough to understand totally what CNRP is trying to do when they made a decision to negotiate outside their mandated duty.
In my opinion, CNRP is too quick to negotiate with Hun Sen for power sharing. They should have stuck with the demand for the creation of an independent committee and nothing else.
I hope CNRP learns from its political errors!

By delaying the demonstration, the CNRP has been partly losing its strife to find justice for Khmer people, who have voted overwhelmingly in favor of the CNRP.
People have been trying to help the CNRP to envision what will be happened in the foreseeable future, informing the CNRP about the repercussion of its acts, avoiding making any unnecessary errors, etc…
This is a tough battle, there is a very small room for error.
The CNRP must know how to make a bold and swift decision. The timing is so critical in this crusade to liberate Cambodia.
If the CNRP jointed with the CPP, the fate of the CNRP will be similar to the FUNCINPEC.
In effect, the CPP can strip the immunity of the CNRP’s MPs at will. The CPP can dictate its judges to incarcerate the CNRP’s members of parliament (MP)any time it wanted.
At the same time, Khmer people will lose trust in the CNRP, casting doubt about the CNRP’s ability to lead the country and win the election again.
So, the chance for the CNRP to win again will be minimal.
Remember Ranaridth was the President of the National Assembly and the popularity of the FUNCINPEC started declining to non existence as of today.
Why does the CNRP want to get this President of the Assembly job in exchange for its winning vote?
The CNRP is the winner. Please stop fighting on the wrong subject. It will bring you nowhere but hell.
The most that the CNRP can present to the CPP is offering a new election. We knew already that this loser CPP won’t do that because it will lose again.
Up to this moment, I do not see any other choice beside the demonstration to press the CPP to accept the inquiry about the election’s irregularities or concede its defeat.

By delaying the demonstration, the CNRP has been partly losing its strife to find justice for Khmer people, who have voted overwhelmingly in favor of the CNRP.
People have been trying to help the CNRP to envision what will be happened in the foreseeable future, informing the CNRP about the repercussion of its acts, avoiding making any unnecessary errors, etc…
This is a tough battle, there is a very small room for error.
The CNRP must know how to make a bold and swift decision. The timing is so critical in this crusade to liberate Cambodia.
If the CNRP jointed with the CPP, the fate of the CNRP will be similar to the FUNCINPEC.
In effect, the CPP can strip the immunity of the CNRP’s MPs at will. The CPP can dictate its judges to incarcerate the CNRP’s members of parliament (MP)any time it wanted.
At the same time, Khmer people will lose trust in the CNRP, casting doubt about the CNRP’s ability to lead the country and win the election again.
So, the chance for the CNRP to win again will be minimal.
Remember Ranaridth was the President of the National Assembly and the popularity of the FUNCINPEC started declining to non existence as of today.
Why does the CNRP want to get this President of the Assembly job in exchange for its winning vote? (Is it true?)
The CNRP is the winner. Please stop fighting on the wrong subject. It will bring you nowhere but hell.
The most that the CNRP can present to the CPP is offering a new election. We knew already that this loser CPP won’t accept that because it will lose again.
Up to this moment, I do not see any other choice beside the demonstration to press the CPP to accept the inquiry about the election’s irregularities or concede its defeat.

I think CNRP needs to form a legal entity representing cambodian victims as the plaintiff to file a lawsuit to international criminal court (ICC) against Hun Sen and his associates for all crimes and atrocities they have been committed toward dissidents and innocent cambodians.
The team needs to collect and prepare relevant documents and evidences to present to ICC and also the human right watch and Licadho organizations are needed to help testify as witnesses of each case.
I'm really applauding for CNRP if a legal entity has already been formed for this purpose, if not please try to do so coz we don't need to wait for ICC's initiative to act.

There is no way for HUN XEN to step down, to have a justice for voters or whatever, Cambodian issues is heavy related with Vietnam, Vietnam has got a lot from Hun Xen, Land, islands, forestry, Land concession, natural resources, and many Vietnamese refugees living in Cambodia, so I appeal all Cambodian must joint the big protests to rescue our country and have a justice and democracy
HUN XEN has given Cambodian land to Vietnam many areas, and also gave forestry, land concession, natural resources, and let Vietnamese refugees living in Cambodia. Hun Xen also has killed a lot of Cambodian people, he knows this, so what is the point HUN XEN want to have free and fair for election, HUN XEN will not step down unless the Mass protest our using people power to kick him out.
