នេះ​ ជា​បញ្ជី រាយ​នាម​ ព្រះអយ្យកោ​ របស់ ​ព្រះយេស៊ូ​គ្រិស្ដ ជា​ព្រះរាជវង្ស​ របស់​ ព្រះបាទ​ដាវីឌ ដែល​ត្រូវ​ ជា​ពូជពង្ស ​របស់ ​លោក​អប្រាហាំ៖

លោក​អប្រាហាំ​ បង្កើត ​លោក​អ៊ីសាក,

លោក​អ៊ីសាក​ បង្កើត​ លោក​យ៉ាកុប,

លោក​យ៉ាកុប ​បង្កើត ​លោក​យូដា និង​បង​ប្អូន ​របស់​គាត់, លោក​យូដា និង​នាង​តាម៉ារ ​បង្កើត​ លោក​ពេរេស

ស្ដេច​ដាវីឌ និង​ភរិយា​ របស់ លោក​អ៊ូរី​ បង្កើត​ស្ដេច​ សាឡូម៉ូន, ស្ដេច​សាឡូម៉ូន ​បង្កើត​ ស្ដេចរេហូបោម,

ស្ដេច​រេហូបោម​ បង្កើត​ ស្ដេច​អប៊ីយ៉ា,

ស្ដេច​អប៊ីយ៉ា​ បង្កើត​ ស្ដេច​អេសា, 

ស្ដេច​អេសា​ បង្កើត​ ស្ដេច​យ៉ូសាផាត,

ស្ដេច​យ៉ូសាផាត​ បង្កើត​ ស្ដេច​យ៉ូរ៉ាម,

ស្ដេច​យ៉ូរ៉ាម​ បង្កើត ​ស្ដេច​អូសៀស, 

ស្ដេច​អូសៀស ​បង្កើត​ ស្ដេច​យ៉ូថាម,

ស្ដេច​យ៉ូថាម ​បង្កើត​ ស្ដេច​អេហាស,

ស្ដេច​អេហាស​ បង្កើត​ ស្ដេច​អេសេគាស, 

ស្ដេច​អេសេគាស​ បង្កើត​ ស្ដេច​ម៉ាណាសេ,

ស្ដេច​ម៉ាណាសេ​ បង្កើត​ ស្ដេច​អាំម៉ូន,

ស្ដេច​អាំម៉ូន ​បង្កើត​ ស្ដេច​យ៉ូសៀស,

ស្ដេច​យ៉ូសៀស​ បង្កើត​ស្ដេច ​យេកូនាស និង​អនុជ​

របស់​ព្រះអង្គ ក្នុង​គ្រា​ ដែល​គេ​កៀរ​ ជន​ជាតិ ​អ៊ីស្រាអែល យក​ទៅ​ធ្វើ​ជា​ឈ្លើយ​ នៅ​ស្រុក​បាប៊ីឡូន។

ក្រោយ​គ្រា​ ដែល​គេ​កៀរ​ ជន​ជាតិ​ អ៊ីស្រាអែល​ យក​ទៅ​ធ្វើ​ ជា​ឈ្លើយ ​នៅ​ស្រុក​បាប៊ីឡូន៖

ស្ដេច​យេកូនាស​ បង្កើត​ លោក​សាលធាល,

លោក​សាលធាល​ បង្កើត​ លោក​សូរ៉ូបាបិល,

លោក​សូរ៉ូបាបិល​ បង្កើត​ លោក​អប៊ីយូដ,

លោក​អប៊ីយូដ​ បង្កើត​ លោក​អេលាគីម,

លោក​អេលាគីម​ បង្កើត​ លោក​អេសូរ,

លោក​អេសូរ​ បង្កើត​ លោក​សាដុក,

លោក​សាដុក​ បង្កើត​ លោក​អេគីម,

លោក​អេគីម​ បង្កើត ​លោក​អេលីយូដ,

លោក​អេលីយូដ​ បង្កើត​ លោក​អេឡាសារ,

លោក​អេឡាសារ ​បង្កើត​ លោក​ម៉ាថាន,

លោក​ម៉ាថាន បង្កើត ​លោក​យ៉ា,

លោក​យ៉ាកុប ​បង្កើត​ លោក​យ៉ូសែប, ជា​ស្វាមី ​របស់​ នាង​ម៉ារី ដែល​បង្កើត​ ព្រះយេស៊ូ, ហៅ​ថា ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ។

ដូច្នេះ ចាប់​ពី​លោក ​អប្រាហាំ​មក ​ទល់​ស្ដេច​ ដាវីឌ មាន​ដប់បួន​តំណ; ចាប់​ពី​ស្ដេច ​ដាវីឌ ​មក​ ទល់​នឹង​គ្រា ដែល​គេ​កៀរ​ ជន​ជាតិ​ អ៊ីស្រាអែល យក​ទៅ​ធ្វើ ​ជា​ឈ្លើយ ​នៅ​ស្រុក​បាប៊ីឡូន មាន​ដប់បួន​តំណ; ហើយ​ ចាប់​ពី​គ្រា​ ដែល​គេ​កៀរ ជន​ជាតិ ​អ៊ីស្រាអែល យក​ទៅ​ធ្វើ ​ជា​ឈ្លើយ ​នៅ​ស្រុក​បាប៊ីឡូន​ មក​ទល់​ព្រះគ្រិស្ដ ក៏​មាន​ ដប់បួន​ តំណ​ដែរ។

កំណើត ​ព្រះយេស៊ូ​គ្រិស្ដ

នេះ​ ជា​ដំណើរ​រឿង ​អំពី​ កំណើត ​របស់​ ព្រះយេស៊ូ​គ្រិស្ដ៖ នាង​ម៉ារី មាតា ​របស់ ​ព្រះអង្គ ​ត្រូវ​ ជា​គូ​ដណ្ដឹង​ របស់​ លោក​យ៉ូសែប។  មុន​ពេល​អ្នក​ ទាំង​ពីរ​ រួម​រស់ ​ជា​មួយ​គ្នា, នាង​ម៉ារី​ មាន​ផ្ទៃ​ពោះ ដោយសារ​ ព្រះវិញ្ញាណ​ ដ៏វិសុទ្ធ ​រួច​ទៅ​ហើយ។  លោក​យ៉ូសែប ស្វាមី​ របស់​នាង ​ជា​មនុស្ស​សុចរិត, លោក​ មិន​ចង់​បំបាក់​ មុខ​នាង​ឡើយ, គឺ ​លោក​ សំរេច​ចិត្ត​ ថា នឹង​ផ្ដាច់​ពាក្យ​ ដោយ​ស្ងាត់ៗ​វិញ។  ពេល​លោក​ កំពុង​គិត​ដូច្នេះ ស្រាប់​តែ​ មាន​ទេវតា ​របស់​ព្រះអម្ចាស់ មក​ប្រាប់​លោក ​ក្នុង​សុបិន​និមិត្ត​ ថា, «លោក​យ៉ូសែប​ ជា​ព្រះរាជវង្ស របស់​ ព្រះបាទ​ដាវីឌ ​អើយ, សូម​ កុំ​ខ្លាច​ នឹង​ទទួល ​នាង​ម៉ារី​ មក​ធ្វើ​ ជា​ភរិយា​ ឡើយ។  បុត្រ​ ដែល​នៅ​ក្នុង ​ផ្ទៃ​នាង កើត​មក ​ពី​ព្រះវិញ្ញាណ​ ដ៏វិសុទ្ធ។  នាង ​នឹង​សម្រាល​ បាន​បុត្រ​មួយ, ហើយ ​លោក​ ត្រូវ​ ថ្វាយ​ព្រះនាម ​ថា “យេស៊ូ”, ដ្បិត ​បុត្រ​នោះ​ នឹង​សង្គ្រោះ​ ប្រជារាស្ត្រ​ ព្រះអង្គ ឲ្យ​រួច​ ពី​បាប ​របស់​គេ។»

ហេតុការណ៍​នេះ​ កើត​ឡើង ស្រប​ នឹង​សេចក្ដី​ ដែល​ព្រះអម្ចាស់​ មាន​ព្រះបន្ទូល តាម​រយៈ​ ព្យាការី ​ថា៖ «មើល! ស្ដ្រី​ព្រហ្មចារី​ នឹង​មាន​ផ្ទៃ​ពោះ; នាង ​នឹង​សម្រាល ​បាន​បុត្រ​មួយ ​ដែល​គេ​នឹង​ថ្វាយ ព្រះនាម​ ថា, “អេម៉ាញូអែល”»

ប្រែ​ថា, «ព្រះជា​ម្ចាស់ ​គង់​ ជា​មួយ​យើង។»

លុះ ​លោក​យ៉ូសែប ​ភ្ញាក់​ឡើង, លោក​ ក៏​ធ្វើ​តាម​បង្គាប់​ទេវតា ​របស់​ ព្រះអម្ចាស់, គឺ​ លោក​ទទួល​ នាង​ម៉ារី​ មក​ធ្វើ​ជា​ភរិយា។  ប៉ុន្តែ លោក​ ពុំ​ បាន​រួម​ បវេណី​ ជា​មួយ​នាង រហូត​ ដល់​នាង​ សម្រាល​ បាន​បុត្រ​ ដែល​លោក ​ថ្វាយ​ព្រះនាម​ ថា «យេស៊ូ»។

The Genealogy of Jesus the Messiah

1 This is the genealogy^[a] of Jesus the Messiah^[b] the son of David, the son of Abraham:

² Abraham was the father of Isaac,

Isaac the father of Jacob,

Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,

³ Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar,

Perez the father of Hezron,

Hezron the father of Ram,

⁴ Ram the father of Amminadab,

Amminadab the father of Nahshon,

Nahshon the father of Salmon,

⁵ Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab,

Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth,

Obed the father of Jesse,

⁶ and Jesse the father of King David.

David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah’s wife,

⁷ Solomon the father of Rehoboam,

Rehoboam the father of Abijah,

Abijah the father of Asa,

⁸ Asa the father of Jehoshaphat,

Jehoshaphat the father of Jehoram,

Jehoram the father of Uzziah,

⁹ Uzziah the father of Jotham,

Jotham the father of Ahaz,

Ahaz the father of Hezekiah,

¹⁰ Hezekiah the father of Manasseh,

Manasseh the father of Amon,

Amon the father of Josiah,

¹¹ and Josiah the father of Jeconiah^[c] and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.

¹² After the exile to Babylon:

Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel,

Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,

¹³ Zerubbabel the father of Abihud,

Abihud the father of Eliakim,

Eliakim the father of Azor,

¹⁴ Azor the father of Zadok,

Zadok the father of Akim,

Akim the father of Elihud,

¹⁵ Elihud the father of Eleazar,

Eleazar the father of Matthan,

Matthan the father of Jacob,

¹⁶ and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, and Mary was the mother of Jesus who is called the Messiah.

¹⁷ Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Messiah.

Joseph Accepts Jesus as His Son

¹⁸ This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about^[d]: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. ¹⁹ Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet^[e] did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

²⁰ But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. ²¹ She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,^[f] because he will save his people from their sins.”

²² All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: ²³ “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”^[g] (which means “God with us”).

²⁴ When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. ²⁵ But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
