Upcoming CNRP-Svay Rieng MP Kong Saphea denies rumor to burn down Sokimex gas station in the near future.

Note: Sokimex (Sok is from Sok Kong, im is import, ex is export). Sok Kong is one of several powerful persons connected to the ruling party, CPP, that owns and operates Sokimex that has gas stations all over the country. He also owns Angkor Wat through lucrative business deal with the government. According to news outlet, he collects $120 million annually from entry fares to Angkor Wat and he pays the government $10 or $20 millions.

Svay Rieng province borders with Raung Domrei province, Kampuchea Krom. Presently Vietnam's Tai Ninh province. About half population in this province are Khmers.
