Dear School of Vice,

About time for you to show up at Golden Era ;) You have been hiding because you afraid haters/fans will follow you just like your own shadow too or what?

It is not time for the golden memories. We have more interesting to think about. We need to concentrate about the traitor at home giving all kind miseries to the people.

Dear School of Vice,

I love all these songs very much. When I was a little girl, I love the song "Haet tae kam bong" much more. The kind of song I love.

The second song is so beautiful and meaningful. I love every word in this song. Sounds like the female character is giving a male character lecture, or life lesson, sort of, which I like even more ;) It's one of my favorite songs though. I really love this tone of voice.

For the third song, I love the narrative style very much. The kind of narration that can take one soul right to the scenes being described. Glad you share this selection here. About time, too much politic in my head and of course too much cursing from haters too ;)

No, nothing like you have said. I like my own shadow, and anyway I know no one follows me around like they do you!

I'm just like a guest here on KI Media forum like most readers are, and whoever I may encounter whilst I'm here, whether they are good or malicious, I take them all in my stride in my own way.

All human beings are our brothers and sisters - it's only ignorance that blinds many of them to that truth.

Dear 3:40 AM,

'Golden Memories' is Khmer heritage, reminding Khmers of our beautiful culture. Nothing wrong with this. Because we exclude 'Golden Memories' from our daily lives, that's why we don't have peace and keep attacking our own blood... We need to let our mind relax while fighting for peace, otherwise we will become insane, thinking about hatred every second...

Dear School of Vice,

Great lecture. The last line is my favorite line too. You sound more like a spiritual teacher today ;)

Dear Jendha,

OK, I'll leave lecture and spiritual matters alone for now.

The first song has only been discovered by me a few months ago. I'm constantly surprised by the array of songs by the old artists of that era.

Some of these songs I might have heard as a child, but to hear them again today is like recovering a long lost treasure. And of course there are great songs I have not yet listened to.

I'm profoundly grateful to all those individuals who kindly made these priceless songs available online so that I can listen to [or meditate on] and share with others.

Dear School of Vice,

The quality of these three songs are still amazing. I have not listened to the first song for a long time till today. I never had it anywhere in my collection [now I will]. I'm too attached to 'Golden Memories' glad someone from KI team loves it too ;) I used to bother HS so much to go find those songs for me. Now I just have to wait for your post patienly, which sometimes happens once in a blue moon ;)

PS: I am not joking, when I said I love the last line of your comment above "All human beings are our brothers and sisters - it's only ignorance that blinds many of them to that truth." That's what the Buddha's teaching is about. I have been using this line all the time with friends online and offline, but not all would agree with me. Those who agree with these words are more at peace than those who are not. No matter where I go, what I do, spiritual practice is always with me. I have turned the knowledge my Buddhist masters taught me into wisdom, which become a strong roof, protecting me from rain and wind.

Truth is based upon two Seeds from which humanity emerges from:

1. The seed of the Serpent-Evil
2. The seed of the Woman-Good

In the natural, all seeds produces after its own kind. Likewise in the spiritual!

Dear Jendha,

You are quite privileged in a way to have been taught by your Buddhist masters. Although I think in the end it was your own positive instinct and effort that brought you into their world.

When I was in Phnom Penh I made an effort to visit a wat where I had a lot of memories as a child; a place with very close personal family connections. It so happened that this wat had been the place where the late Buddhist patriarch Maha Ghosananda [forgive me if I have his title wrong!] stayed when he was in Cambodia. However, he was out of the country while I was there, but people of the wat showed me to his 'kot' within the pagoda compound.

He had been described by many as Cambodia's living treasure whilst he was alive, and I wholly concur with this sentiment - perhaps, the greatest patriarch since Samdech Songkhareaj Choun Nath.

If he were still alive today he would be leading his epic, marathon 'Peace March' all over the country [Dharma Yietra?]; something I would love to take part in one day - fitness permitting!

Dear School of Vice,

His Holiness Maha Ghosananda was my Great Buddhist Master. Since he left the country, he came to USA and I was with him most of the time. I had such a great souvenir with His Holiness. I got to travel with him a lot, to many places. I have a very very close connection with His Holiness. And I have so many video documents of him that I have not released to public yet. I love videotaping him so much wherever I go. His Holiness Maha Ghosananda is a true follower of Lord Buddha. He is the student of His Holiness Chuon Nath along with Maha Ghosaneak Hem Cheav [the heroic Buddhist monk]. Samdech Chuon Nath lowered Maha Ghosananda's age by 20 years so he could study Buddhism in India. So His Holiness actually passed a way at age 94 [5/23/1913 - 3/12/07] not as young as reported on news. I was with His Holiness till he passed a way. I love him very much, that's why I try my best to keep his legacy alive. Everything I do, I do in the name of His Holiness. My spiritual connection with him cannot be described in words. He's a heroic Buddhist monk. He did not win Nobel Peace Prize, was was nominated many times. Never mind the Peace Prize, he's a true gem of Cambodia. A monk who speaks very few words each day. I know him so well. I videotaped him since he's alive, in the hospital and till he died. His kindness lives inside me till today. There are some video documents of his Dhammayietra on youtube also, when he was much younger.

I had one souvenir with him I cannot forget. When Ms. Dy Saveth came to my town, I was an MCEE for the event and I wanted to dress up and wear make up for the stage. I asked him for permission to do so, but before I could ask, I was so nervous. I had to think for many days. Then when I got to speak to him, it was so simple. He said, "Go ahead. It's part of your works. Make sure you are not attached to those things." I never forgot this moment. I love him so much...
