Heng Sarim was a former Khmer Vietn Minh before Heng Samrin become Khmer Rouge between 1975-1978.
Other former Khmer Viet Minh before they become Khmer Rouge between 1975-1978 as follow:
1. Chea Sim.
2. So Phim.
3. Ros Nghim.
4. Kea Meas.
5. Ney Sarann.
7. Norn Sourn.
8. And many other.
Note: So Phim controlled Eastern Zone between 1975-1978 his in law Ros Nghim contolled Pusat and Battambang between 1975-1978.
So Phim had also a member of permanent committee of Khmer Rouge between 1975-1978, So Phim shot himself in 1978 when So Phim wa on the run to Hanoi and was surrounded by Khmer Rouge solders loyal to Pol Pot.
