Could people stop using the word Indochina?
This word made people think of Ah devil Ho Chi Minh, who is staying in hell right now.

If Cambodia, just say Cambodia.

The region is between India and China hence Indochina. Nothing wrong to use the word. You're just too paranoid.

please help protect khmer wildlife, they are a part of future cambodia, too! the good thing to do for wildlife is to designate a wildlife sanctuary for them, so they can call cambodia home, too!

8:03am, why people like you ashame to say cambodia when this story is about cambodia anyway? why indochina when referring to cambodia! maybe you want to say french indochina. well, that was before cambodia gained independence from france. now cambodia is independence since 1953, you should call our country cambodia all the time, not any other name. i'm just trying to make correction in case some people didn't know that cambodia exist, that's all!

9:20 Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos locate between China and India, so it's right to call it Indochina. I'm not ashamed to call Cambodia, but this article is about animals which could be found in all three countries not just Cambodia. Sometimes you can't call something larger than one country by its lone name. I'm sure elephants found in Africa are called "African elephants" instead of Kenyan elephants.

3:18pm, please tell that to educate siem people when they called khmer crocodile as siamese crocodile, they called khmer's chek namya as thai banana, khmer red basil mint as thai basil, etc, etc... they siem do that and you don't say anything to them about what you said here above? why is that? bias on your part? that's why we khmer resented siem, yuon, etc for taking advantage of my country cambodia. i say the world should change those name to khmer names, instead. why just thai or yuon's name? why? and what was that all about, the name siamese twins, etc? conjoining twins are found all over the world, so, why just call it "siamese twins?" see my point? and jasmine rice also found in abundance in cambodia since time memorial, why siem people only called it thai jasmine rice or whatever? why they have to monopolize everything that are commonly found in other countries as well? why?

khmer called our banana "chek namva," not thai banana! i'm sure, when you are in cambodia, you ask the people what they call varieties of fruits, etc in khmer, they will tell you. yes, for your info, khmer people of cambodia do have khmer names for our fruits and vegetables, planets, flowers, trees, animals, etc, etc! siem and yuon is no special to khmer people!
