Rainsy, Sokha leaves country to stir up supporters

The Cambodia Herald, November 28, 2013

PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Two opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) leaders left the country this week to seek support over their claims that Cambodia's recent election was marred with too many irregularities.

Sam Rainsy, president of the CNRP, left quietly on November 24 for Europe, while Kem Sokha, CNRP’s acting president, will leave today for the United States.

During the CNRP's planned rallies beginning on December 10, Sam Rainsy will gather CNRP supporters in Siem Reap province, while Kem Sokha will attend a rally with national and international organizations along with civil society groups to mark International Human Rights Day in the capital city of Phnom Penh.
Sam Rainsy and Kem Sohka, along with other CNRP senior officials, will reunite at Preah Vihear temple on December 11, and will continue to visit Prey Long forest in Kampong Thom province after, according to CNRP's statement issued early this week.
They will then return to Phnom Penh to hold a mass rally at Freedom Park on December 15.

The aim of the rallies are to protest against the results of the recent election, demand for a re-election and demand Prime Minister Hun Sen step down from his post.

However, government officials have rejected their demands, saying that they are  unreasonable because Hun Sen was elected as Prime Minister through a fair democratic process.

CNRP plans to hold a rally ever Sunday from December 15 onwards if their demands are not met, the statement said.

Working hard for the good of the many, not one family and their cronies.

I don't understand why sam rainsy and kem sokha make innocent khmer people confuse. There are 95% vote for them, why can't they stand firm and be honest what they do. If their mind are erratic, how can cambodia country become peace. It is unfair when sam rainsy and kem sokha make innocent khmer people suffer and they live in happy life and not taking responsiblity what they have done wrong.
