That looks beautiful. Champa people should do something to at least get part of their land back and create their own state.

In AD 1695 two Cham royal commanders betrayed Champa, helped Viets captured Cham king, and beheaded him.

Viets let those two Cham traitors to rule over the last two provinces, Phanry and PhanRang.

In AD 1725-30, Viets destroyed those two Cham provinces. Cham fled to Malaysia, and another group asked to refuge in Khmer province of Th'bong Kh'mom.

And now the Khmer fate will be the same like Cham people because Sihanouk had betrayed Khmer people.

Khmer and Cham were once the same people and the same religions. In the late 15th century Champa took in a new religions and made a peace pact with the Youn marrying the Youn princess. Shortly after the marriage he was killed, and the Champa people and religions were killed off. Into the 17th century after capturing Champa land, the Youn made another move further south to Prey Norkor. The Khmer King also made a peace pact with the Youn by marrying the Youn princess. He was also killed off shortly after the marriage, along with the destruction of the ancient Khmer site sprrounding prey Nokor to erased all traces of the Khmer culture and people. Question is, did we Khmer learn anything? U.N

Vietnam is restoring Cham architecture to attract tourism. So it's exploited to their advantage but it also preserve and restore Cham heritage. It's win-win.

The Champa's building style and art of construction is pretty most the same as khmers so these two people would have the same fate, just one had to meet their fate first and the other one would follow after as ah chker yuons always have in their minds. Frankly, i'm not sure about this picture; maybe someone has fooled us. Please do a research and post the finding.

6:13am, stop thinking so negative all the time. cambodia now joined the world community already. it's not that easy for these neighboring countries to steal from cambodia again. so, don't feel depressed because cambodia the world is keeping their eyes on world. just keep our khmer heritage alive and our khmer identity such as language and other important culture and tradition alive. that's all it matters for us. don't politicize everything you see about cambodia. it makes you sad and depressed. look at the bright side! cambodia is full of hope. we know from history yuon at one time tried to conquer cambodia, but they failed, french tried to convert khmer alphabets into romanized, they failed. pol pot tried to turn cambodia into primitive society, they failed. cambodia will always be cambodia. remember, it is our khmer people and citizens that makes cambodia so great in the first place. keep up the good work. cambodia is so proud of its people and citizens. cambodia will always be on this earth as long as the sun and the moon is still shining on earth. so, don't lose your hope! keep doing the right thing for cambodia by teaching other to love, understand and know cambodia. cambodia is a very beautiful country. be proud that you are born as khmer people and citizens! help promote cambodia and khmer things, instead!
