The KHMER BIBLE -- Theary Seng Version

This is from the Khmer Standard Version of the Holy Bible of the Bible Society of Cambodia (1997, 2005) which I have edited mainly with regards to spacing and punctuation for easier comprehension. Similar to the English Bible, I have put the words of the LORD Jesus in red ink (read its history).

(Click here for the highest authority to use and understanding rules of punctuation.)

On occasions, I have corrected translation inaccuracy vis-a-vis the English New International Version.

And always, whenever វា (it) is used for a person, in particular for a child, it is replaced with គេ or គាត់ (s/he, him/her or they/them). The use of អញ (the derogatory "I" or "me", used inappropriately to connote authority, e.g. as by the father in the Parable of the Prodigal Son) is also replaced to ខ្ញុំ, unless the context calls for it (e.g. angry Old Testament king screaming at a servant).

* * *
The Holy Bible--the best-selling book in history with 25 MILLION Bibles sold annually, totaling between 2.5 to 6 BILLION--is a library or consolidation of 66 books, divided into the Old Testament (39 books, shared by both Judaism and Christianity) and the New Testament (27 books).  Both the OT and the NT form one single history, with the OT pointing to the coming Messiah of the NT.  The NT has the 4 Gospels recounting the "good news" and life of Jesus, the book of Acts recounting the spread of Christianity in the first century, letters by Jesus' disciples to believers spread across what is now the Mediterranean, Eastern Europe and Asia Minor -- new converts and old ones from the time of Jesus, persecuted for their faith in the Roman Empire, and the book of Revelation with vision of the end time (or, the time between Jesus Christ's 1st coming and His return--the time of our salvation--or, now!).

How can we change using Khmer word that means in English eat into something like hoab, pisah , bariphoak, tortuol tian, insead of NHUM ? where did NHUM come from ?
it sounds so informal and immature.
it is so annoyed that people use the word Nhum, loak pa, loak mak, loak ta , when in the back door they are so fluent in derogatory like singer Meng pich chenda use very derogatory word to curse her high ranking husband, the general.
