Prime minister Hun Sen asked people not to be fooled by people who used to cheat them for the third time. During a speech given at a (banhchos seyma) inauguration in Kampong Cham province on Monday, Hun Sen said that the mixed vegetable soup (samlor kako) is not good until all the spices are added in. (In the same vein), democracy in Cambodia also counts cheaters, liars, and those who tell the truth. However, he said that if people are fooled for first time, the fault is on the cheater. If people are fooled for the second time, the fault is on the people, and the cheater is the right party. However, if people are fooled for third time, this means that the people are really dumb. Hun Sen added that there is no reason to talk about this issue anymore, and he asked that people not be cheated for the third time. Hun Sen said that people should have their feet bound to their country, their lands and waters, in order to be able to work. Hun Sen added that he knows very much about the hardship of the farmers. With his speech, Hun Sen seems to be aiming at Prince Norodom Ranariddh who is currently living overseas, and the prince used to lie to people during two mandates already.
